Another experiment with my spiral editor.
I thought of an event horizon, since it looks like you can still escape on the outside, but once in the circle you are sucked in and spaghettified.
Post Processing in Photoshop.
Original Image Size : 20,000x20,000pixels (400 Megapixels)
From now on I can create images up-to 4,000 megapixels (64,000 x 64,000), theoretically I could go even bigger but it becomes very slow editing such large files on my computer with 'only' 16GB of RAM.

Sometimes when I go out birding the event becomes more overwhelming than the opportunity to photograph it.
A very large school of Northern Anchovy had arrived in Semiahmoo Bay. Tens of thousands of gulls arrived to feed on them. I have not seen this many gulls in the bay since I was a kid. There were many seals and sea lions also. When a Sea Lion breaks the water just below you when you are on The Pier it is a little intimidating. There were also many other waterfowl; Surf Scoters, White-winged Scoters, Double-crested Cormorants, Loons, Scaup, Bufflehead, Merganser and others but their numbers were a small fraction compared to the amount of gulls.
With so much going on and so many people around I found it a little overwhelming and what photos I shot were not as good as I would have liked. These images are a small slice of what to see and a poor representation of what was there.
