This sunset I could also see the mountains--very special! Another night, we saw another pretty sunset, not sure which I like better!

I found a little marina on my wanderings in Seattle.

I know you can see Mt. Rainier from Seattle, but since it can be covered in clouds, there are days you can't. Happily, I saw Mt. Rainier as I was returning back to the pier after trying to find some other vantage points to shoot from. That's Safeco Stadium on the left and the ferry terminal. Not the prettiest of foregrounds! Still, I think it's a pretty cool sight. The clouds had just cleared enough to see the volcano.

I think I saw Mt. Ranier from my hotel room, but it was hard to tell due to either the clouds or the glare coming off of all that snow!
