A Brown Pelican cruised just offshore at Sanibel Beach, and would dive headfirst when it spotted a fish. Sometimes it was successful.

Evening sky in the city

When he was 70 years old, lumber baron Perry Hannah built his retirement home in 1891. As one of the early settlers in this northern Michigan area, he was acclaimed by some as the "Father of Traverse City."

This mansion has four floors, 40 rooms, and 10 fireplaces, with 3500 square feet of living space on every floor. Everything in this Queen Anne/French Chateau style house was hand-crafted as there was no electricity at that time,

Today, Hannah's house is the home of Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Handheld shot from Meols Beach in North West England. The forecast was for high cloud and very little low. This would have provided a decent sunset. Unfortunately they got it the wrong way round!
