Can you see it?
It must have an ethereal cargo,
my photo was filled with light from another world.
A highlight of spring in Yosemite Valley is the western dogwood.
The flowers are individually small and inconspicuous, 2–3 mm across, produced in a dense, rounded, greenish-white flowerhead 2 cm diameter; the 4-8 large white "petals" are actually bracts.

Early morning looking west from Isthmus Bay, Derwentwater
Another one from my 'Summer' (!!!) trip to the Lake District. no great colourful sky but I don't think that's essential to show the beauty of the area.
I started off in Crowe Park and headed towards Friars Crag past the landing stages. You could hear a pin drop!

I could have spent hours photographing this tree in the Peak District (near the entrance to Bole Hill). The fog was being elusive, but had gathered at the edge of Lawrence Field, separating out this tree in it's autumnal splendour from the rest of the woodland.
