The dying sunlight casting shadows on the Groynes of Winchelsea beach in East Sussex. The groynes built to help keep the beach from being eroded by the eternal force of the tides, while, in contrast a newer form of energy capture is visible in the distance with the Wind Farm trying to harness another, if somewhat intermittent force of Nature.
On the far right is another power alltogether in the form of the Nuclear Power station at Dungeness.
A presence both soft and unyielding, where past and future converge in poised descent.
The story begins here and continues in Dynasty’s Breath, where the empire exhales its quiet grace.

I always think of Smudge's sonar, which is always on, just like a battleship pinging into his surroundings for his next target!
In the solitude of his castle, Count Dracula, shrouded in darkness, caresses a locket containing the image of his beloved Elisabeta. Despite his immortality, the memory of Elisabeta torments him—an unhealed wound. The night accompanies him in his pain, while shadows stalk him. Yet, in his immortal heart, the flame of love for Elisabeta burns eternally. The tear that falls down his cheek is a tribute to his lost humanity and a promise that he will never forget her. The painting captures Dracula’s eternal pain for his lost love, an ode to longing and immortality.
