My daughter, one of many essential workers in this crazy covid world. She caught the virus about 3 months ago along with her 7 yr. old son. She has recovered and is back at work.
I am grateful for all of the essential workers who bravely go to
work every day to keep us going.

Previously unpublished shot captured early in the first Covid-19 lockdown in the UK in April 2020.
Essential shopping only and one 'exercise' walk per day up to 1 hour in length was permitted, of course I took my camera, yet there were more parties going on in Downing Street than I have been to in decades! When leadership shows utter contempt for the people they are elected to serve, and the rule of law, it is time for their service to no longer be required and the laws to apply to them. This is one shot, one photo, not a composite of two photos. I just used a monochrome color treatment for the underground parts.
The underground open area refers to the taxi waiting zone of a high-speed railway station. This underground railway station is connected to Asia's largest underground shopping mall and corridor system, making it an essential part of the CBD area's pedestrian and rail transportation. Consequently, there are often many taxis waiting there to serve passengers.

Inadequate preparation often leaves us ill-equipped to handle life's unexpected challenges, much like bringing an umbrella to go underwater. The Cascade du Déroc is formed by the Salhiens stream, the outlet of the Salhiens lake, which rushes from the top of a cliff corresponding to an ancient lava flow and falls 32 m lower. The waterfall hides a small cave whose ceiling is formed of basalt prisms.
The Cascade du Déroc is both the starting and finishing point of the Route des Lacs de l'Aubrac which allows you to discover a series of lakes and waterfalls. An essential route to discover the famous Aubrac plateau.
