charles adventures episode5 "three men one tower"

Continuing with our Mountian Madness, by popular request here is Episode 5. This one is in the same general area as the last. Banff/Canmore area. If I'm not mistaken, this is called the Three Sisters! Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to try something like this, if time permits I'm gonna try to expand it and add a few things.

All in-camera just cropped.

"You have failed me for the last time Admiral"

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Just abit of fun with a quick torso design and Crazy Bricks CrazyArms. I think the slightly darker hair piece suit Luke better for Empire.

Becoming

The Buddha Project

Curated by Jeanne Grosetti & Robert Thurmer

Wall drawing at Gallery U, Cleveland

2004

Ink, spirograph, fire, wax, incense, rocks, orange, honey

A site specific drawing made directly on the walls of the

gallery. The drawing itself (made with the use of a spirograph,

the 1960's art making device for children) contains thousands

of various small circles representing the Buddha as a formless

form. The first phase of the drawing was completed in four days,

and was continued over a period of 3 months.

At the completion of the show the Buddha was washed away.

The All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker, is a four-legged transport and combat vehicle used by the Imperial ground forces. Standing over 73½ feet tall with blast-impervious armor plating, these massive constructs are used as much for psychological effect as they are for tactical advantage. First seen on the planet Hoth in episode 5-The Empire Strikes Back (1980), these massive and imposing machines were also seen in episode 6-Return of the Jedi (1983), episode 7-The Force Awakens (2015), and in the animated series Star Wars Rebels (2014).

This photo was taken in 2013 during my previous Project 365…please visit my album for this “REMASTERED” Project 365 as I revisit each day of 2013 for additional photos to share!!

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Anjou's out, but seven still remain.

Who will be eliminated next?

***********************************

Still working on the next photoshoot. The episode wont be up for another few weeks, though :( But I'm super psyched about it!

Here's a little hint as to the theme:

"For seven models, Fashion gets Deadly."

Oh, and expect a very "shocking" elimination ;P and the reveal of the International Destination!

It is almost a rite of passage for a Star Wars and Lego fan to build an X-Wing. I have been creating versions since 1978, striving to build the ultimate, perfect X-Wing, and have witnessed the constant evolution of Lego X-Wing models.

This is my latest creation after a 40 year building journey.

I hope you enjoy my contribution, and that it inspires your own creations! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

What we do is, wrap it wrap it round round, then we make 'em fall down!

When starwars episode5 came out in 1980, i was just born.

Watching that movie for the first time i knew this would be one of my all time favorite movies from the 80s.

The discshooter element 1x4 gave me the idea to build the AtAt head.

This weeks Jewlery Challenge was about "newspaper."

We had to build a piece that incorporated newspaper or book newsprint. Mine just happened to be Asian print :)

With this piece, I pretty much worked this one as I went. It is made of pages from an Asian book. I lightly whitewashed and glued the cutouts, burnt, painted, stamped, laminated, riveted and then attached to a copper plated steel bracelet.

I started out thinking 'ginko leaves', then as I was making the pieces I decided against a green wash as it was reminding me more of the beautiful fungi that grows on trees, espescially more after I put it on my wrist.

I would love to do this again with a dirent intention of it being even more like the fungi to begin with.

Please see all 11 EtsyMetal team members fabulous creations in this weeks challenge on our

blog!
