History:
Daughter to an Afro-American preacher father William King and Irish Kayley O´Doyle, Enya grew up in Virginia U.S.. In her early teens she became more and more interested in her mother’s cultural heritage that was kept hidden with the exception of St.Patrick´s Day parade.
Enya started studying Gaelic language on her own and went to University in Ireland majoring in Gaelic language and culture. Her father strongly opposed her leaving, but she did it anyway and hasn´t talked to her father ever since. To emphasize her mother’s side heritage and separation from her father and his fundamental religion she adopted an Irish surname Ó Caolladhe meaning the descendant of Kayley.

Time again for a little vintage goth. It's been a long time since I had a piece in my Bohemian Gothika Collection. I try to meld a few different elements into this one ... Gothic feminism and vintage with a little mod twist. Perfect for evening occasions. And also for those of you who love a little bit of drama, yet do not wish to be over the top dramatic ;)
Essentially a mixed media piece, this pendant combines polymer clay, paint, antique gold filigree and/or findings, artistic wires, aluminum wires, resin, faceted glass beads, ribbons and fiber.
The aluminum wire that forms the skeleton of the choker is pliable (altho it is advisable to do it gently). Instead of a clasp, this choker is secured by ribbons. Therefore, this choker should fit any neckline.
