I had the pleasure of photographing a rehearsal of performers, which gave me an interesting perspective.
This collage is the same performer, which my imagination ran to the power of “Envision your dreams”
Didn't just get married, but this is the scene I envision in driving away to the honeymoon destination. Love this great phantom.
I can envision an old farm couple driving into this farm site and sitting quietly in their car before getting out. Before them is a hundred year old barn that once was the work center of their lives. They talk, remembering former days of a life that passed all too quickly.

In May 2020, GM introduced the second generation of the Envision in the United States. It is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 228 hp (170 kW) and 258 lb⋅ft (350 N⋅m) torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Envision includes a suite of standard safety features, including blind spot monitor, lane departure warning, and forward collision alert. Four trim levels are offered: base, Preferred, Essence, and for the first time, Buick's premium Avenir trim.
The new Envision continues to be assembled in China at the SAIC-GM Dongyue Motors plant in Yantai alongside the previous generation model. The second generation Envision now shares the E2XX platform with the Cadillac XT4.

Early Autumn Snow. Eastern Sierra - September 29, 2014
This image is probably not what you might envision when you first think of autumn, but it helps tell the story of the wonderful surprises that await those brave enough to venture out and discover all that this very special time of year has to offer.
Yes, it's that time of year again (my favorite time of year)! The days are noticeably shorter and for me are filled with thoughts and anticipation of my annual fall colors pilgrimage to the Eastern Sierra. This year, my work schedule will add some additional challenges which will force me to wing-it a little more than I am use to and most likely will force me to make last minute decisions as to when I will head up. The thrill of the unknown!
Every year at this time I spend a significant number of hours researching and monitoring the color transition in all of the "key spots" along the Eastern Sierra. One thing I have learned over the years is that trying to predict "peak color" is like trying to time the stock market - it's next to impossible. My best advice is to do your research - do whatever you can to tip the scales in your favor - head on up and enjoy working with what you have when you get there. Again, the thrill of the unknown - go for it!
Embrace Autumn.

Yes, my patient friends, day three of the wild pond iris extravaganza. Placed in the third spot for good reason as I far prefer the other two series. Nevertheless, I appreciate your forbearance and assure you this will be the finale in this sequence...maybe. But at least these were yellow and I have reached the saturation point (get it? very photographic, don't you think?) with fiddling for now, so gather ye irisbuds while ye may. Who knows, I might post another self-portrait and then you'd really be disturbed.
This has really been an experiment in what can be done with the same image...really remarkable and I haven't even touched the surface. Aside from the fact that I have yet to fully reconcile my feeling about photography/art, two drawbacks to this capability exist, at least for me: 1) I can envision processing a single photo to my death, wondering how one more "touch" will look; 2) I now save every bad shot just in case something can be done to "save" it. My delete button sees far less activity than it did previously, tho intellectually I know I will never get to those saved images.
That said, it is fun to a point and provides a further appreciation and a bit of insight as to how some of the marvelous works presented by my contacts and others are created.

Buick is the most popular American brand on the Chinese car market. The Encore is Buick's most compact SUV and similar to the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka. The Buick Envision is a midsize SUV and only produced in China, from where it is also exported to North America. Sales of the Envision are exceptionally good (275,383 units in 2016), the Encore sells in modest numbers (60,000-80,000 units a year).
