Clean energy is great but what is the long term impact on the land and the wildlife that live there ?

LUOTO is finnish for skerry (an tiny islet). I developed this environmental art project in 2017, on a little island forest in the North. Earlier this year I was invited to bring my work to another finnish island, and finally got the opportunity to do my installation on a real luoto. Luoto on Luoto, kind of. Makes me very happy. As you see, that day was a good one, in many ways. I felt very finnish when swimming nude. What is this about?

22nd April is celebrated world wide as the Earth Day. The green globe, which is four billion years old, could never have been at a more perilous state then now & thanks & no thanks to it's most intelligent species, the Homo Sapiens. The Earth is literally bleeding an open vein. Our activities have brought about a cataclysmic climate change, which seems to be irreversible now. The Mother earth, is furious, in tears & bleeding dry due to our environmental degrading ways.

Can we individually & together, make a change for sustainable living on this beautiful planet, the only place that we know as home.

Happy Earth Day & let us really make it a happy Earth to stay.

This is my neighbors other rabbit. She's been running free for the last couple of months and staying in front of our house all the time. My girls love seeing them.

Messin' with mailmandans lawn, is a criminal offence LOL I'd like to see her explain this to the judge LOL

She's so cute and friendly, I just couldn't get upset with her :o)

As long as I have just posted some autumn shots above Lyons in Apple Valley, I decided to dip into an old trip around this old bypass route when I found this original shot of a fence next to the road. Now I can chuck this pseudo-HDR in with my categorized, finished edits. Not only is this an environmental fence, it will be part of the environment before too long. It looks like the environment is still in charge out here. Watch out for rusted nails! While it may keep sensible trespassers out, it has yet to stop a critter from venturing forth from the hills above the road. It's almost like a river runs through this valley!

This shot was on a rather mellow fallish day. This shot is north on the Apple Valley road. Tihs fall, I extended my stash of unedited Apple Valley snaps on my hard disk. This shot screams autumn's slow creep along the back-counrty byway.

Pictures here are everywhere. I just threw this series in for yet another break. I returned and found my class of shots at the vertical end to the Colorado plains. It's clear that random life can always manage a foothold on these cliffs. These are the finger prints of Colorado-tough, rough and tumble plant life. Here, I am once again adding to my massive stash of captures to edit. At least this is green and I snapped away. Next? Let's continue up the road pastthe Antelope and Nelson Ranch Roads turnoff.

I found this remote island in Thailand which had no locals and no tourists on it, I used this beach for two days, one day was reserved for the ladies and me and the other for the shell.

This image took ages to get right, the shell was about a foot away from the lens and was placed at the highest point on the beach, then all I had to do was lay on the sand in a 100 degrees of heat and wait for the right moment, (mother nature does like to take her time).
