Environment day class assembly conducted on 5th June - 10 C.
The class assembly started with an optimistic prayer by the choir followed by a street play to convey a meaningful message about our environment to the students. A melodious song and a thoughtful poem and a video were presented. The students took the pledge to protect and preserve Mother Earth. The class teacher, vice principal, and the principal inspired the students with an important message on the importance of our environment and how we are dependent on it for each and everything. Overall the assembly conveyed the message to safeguard the beauty of Mother Earth.
The assembly concluded with the national anthem.
There is no truer friend for humans than nature, let us come together and take care of it. Save the Earth, save the environment.

The pioneering bike sharing project scheme at Fayoum University sets to revive cycling in Egypt, serves students who commute daily to the city from neighboring towns, changes lifestyles into healthier ones and reduces emissions & congestion.
Through the Sustainable Transport Project, 14 KM of separated bicycle lanes in Fayoum governorate were created, along with 12 bike stations across the city and campuses.
Laid this spring by the Grand Junction Canal in Berkhamsted. After trying to hatch them for a few weeks, mother goose gave up and abandoned them - just like last year. I can only guess that the stress of nesting close to a busy road or chemical pollution in the canal has made the poor creature infertile.

Conservation International (CI) enables civil society groups in biodiversity hotspots to conserve their resources and influence the decisions that affect lives and livelihoods -- and, ultimately, the global environment -- for the benefit of us all. As a founding partner of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, CI has supported nearly 1,600 civil society organizations working to protect more than half of the world's biodiversity hotspots -- and more than 1,000 of the most vulnerable and endangered species on the planet.
