Cape Point.
Cape Point is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula, which is a mountainous and scenic landform that runs north-south for about thirty kilometres at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent in the Republic of South Africa. Table Mountain and the city of Cape Town are close to the northern extremity of the same peninsula. The cape is located at 34°21′26″S 18°29′51″ECoordinates: 34°21′26″S 18°29′51″E, about 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) east and a little north of the Cape of Good Hope on the southwest corner.[1] Although these two rocky and beautiful capes are very well known, neither cape is actually the southernmost point in Africa; that is Cape Agulhas, approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) to the east-southeast.

Philadelphia
Development in Philly is out of control, worsening conditions for working class people & the environment. Hundreds of community activists took to the streets to set the tone for Philly's 2023 election: anyone running for mayor or city council better have policy solutions for ensuring long-term, working class residents have a place in this city and that Philly is truly tackling and prepared for the climate crisis.
The march was organized by community groups fighting for land justice across our city, including Philly Thrive, Sunrise Movement, VietLead, Save UCTownhomes, Save the Meadows, Cobbs Creek EJ, and more!
Through our Multicultural Leaders in Sustainability program, we provide young migrants and refugees with the leadership skills they need to help their communities live more sustainably.
We take them on a four month training program in leadership and sustainability. Then we help them run their own sustainability projects, taking the message straight to migrant and refugee communities. Our successful graduates are awarded the Certificate I in Active Volunteering, which helps them on their path towards further study or employment.

In this handout picture released by The Maldives Presidency, Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed signs the decree of the underwater cabinet meeting off Girifushi Island on October 17, 2009. Ministers in full scuba gear met on the sea bed to draw attention to the dangers of global warming for the island nation, a tourist paradise featuring coral reefs and white sand beaches with most parts lying less than one metre (3.3 feet) above sea level. Scientists have warned it could be uninhabitable in less than 100 years. RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE AFP PHOTO/HO/MALDIVES PRESIDENCY/Mohamed Seeneen

A Soldier from the 57th Sapper, 27th Engineer Battalion (Combat) (Airborne), from Fort Bragg, N.C., prepares to land during an airborne operation at Camp Atterbury, Ind., March 11, 2014. The 57th Sapper missions include clearing landing zones by performing "rough terrain jumping" operations, providing military commanders the ability to insert engineers in uneven, wooded terrain devoid of a cleared drop zone or other austere environments in order to perform a variety of missions. The Soldiers jumped onto a drop zone at the camp, wearing Montana-style smoke jumper suits similar to suits used by firefighters to combat fires, as part of a 10-day exercise. Senator Paul Massicotte at a recent meeting of the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources.
An important factor when looking at the region in terms of environment and security is the impact of climate change in Central Asia in general, and Ferghana Valley in particular. By modifying people’s livelihood, climate change may have an important security dimension in conjunction with other aggravating factors. In the Ferghana valley it is likely that climate change will primarily affect sector related to water and agriculture. Central Asia is likely to have a shortage of water associated with a significant increase in air surface temperatures.
