This Piece is entitled One Good Friend. i tried to evoke the deep
feeling between the girl and the dog, a kind of dog.kind of fantasy creature. I ve left some sketch lines, this is one of the study for atmospheres and style.

Entitled 'My favourite places and spaces' the competition was based around 'Reminiscences of Childhood' - Dylan Thomas’ classic recollection of the sights and sounds of his childhood.
Following in the footsteps of Dylan, the competition asked pupils to submit a short story, poem or picture depicting their own favourite places and spaces.
Participating schools were provided with a fascinating insight into the Swansea writer’s story through animated performances of the piece by actor Mark Montinaro and word-based workshops with Dylan Day Coordinator and poet Mab Jones.

was what lead us all to pursue our art...when did you first realize
you were an artist? When I shared my memory, Craig Newsom asked if I
could redraw it...
so here we go! lol
I can remember my first drawing...well, the first one that excited
me. I was sitting in a wood paneled room, age 5, trying to keep my
hand steady as I created this Mighty little figure! It was important
to make sure that the arms weren't too long...cuz then they'd look
like legs...and vice versa. So, first it was the circle (the
head)...and then one long steady line from the base of the head...to
make the body...and, right when I finished the 2nd arm and slowly
moved it upward (to reconnect to the face)...my heart started
pounding...like it couldn't happen fast enough...and I damn near
squealed when they touched. And then I screamed for my mother
"Maaaaaaa!!!!!!!!" with so much excitement that my voice cracked (and
I can hear it in my head the same way I heard it as a child)!
Unforgettable. it was a moment when i achieved my full
vision...seamless execution.
...and it's still sort of like that...when I complete a long drawn out
piece. After so many attempts...When Im striding towards the finish
line...making final touches here and there...my heart starts to
race...I get really excited and quite often, I call my mama to show
her first. lol)
Happy Painting! the most fun revisit Ive had in a while. lol

Anna Hall, a marine zoologist also quoted in the article suggests showing graphic images to children to warn them of the dangers posed to sea lions. This series is a response to that suggestion and not biased propaganda as I have been accused of.
The spacing and morphology of these wounds suggest a propeller strike.

The education kit entitled “Riskland: the fun way to learn how to prevent disasters” is the outcome of a joint initiative between the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). This product was developed at the end of 2002 by the ISDR Regional Unit for Latin America and the Caribbean, in cooperation with UNICEF Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNICEF-TACRO). Initially, it was addressed for countries in the LAC region and was originally produced in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Our activity was entitled "Saca la Bici por 350" and was organized by the
EcoClub of the Maxei School, Saca la Bici Group and by the biking school
PoliBikes. People were invited to ride their bikes on one of the main streets of
the city of Querétaro, closed to normal traffic every Sunday to encourage the
use of the bikes as an alternative to cars. In addition, some tree seedlings
were donated and the use of a solar oven and solar heaters were demonstrated.

This multimedia piece, entitled America's NEO-CON-MEN was created on July 4th, 2008 and was selected to be a part of the Bay6 Gallery and Studios one night show during the Netroots Nation Conference on Saturday, July 19th, entitled Blogging from the Right Side of the Brain. The event was attended by political writers and Netroots Nation participants across the nation who were visiting Austin during that week.
About this piece: America's NEO-CON-MEN is about exposing the true nature of those who have been instrumental in appropriating our government, stealing our basic liberties via shredding our constitution, and dividing the land that was supposed to be by and for the people through petty partisanship and subterfuge in a mad attempt at fulfilling the last crusade. They have taken our proud republic, land of the free and home of the brave, and sold our core values to the highest bidder; enslaving us to corporate entities who grind our bones and our very life's blood beneath their boot heels without recourse or remorse. They have turned the American Dream inside out, removing the checks and balances that were carefully put in place by our forefathers to separate us from tyranny, all the while enshrouded with stars and stripes and hefting the golden cross. Only by revealing their hypocrisy can we reclaim the power that was invested and entrusted in their lofty positions. At the top center is a photo of a real bald eagle who broke its beak and was starving to death, unable to feed itself, until an engineer designed the prosthetic beak shown and grafted it to the animal. The eagle has made a full recovery from this act of creativity and compassion. I can think of no greater metaphor for our the current state of our democracy, and you and I are that beak.

New Deal mural entitled "Monterey Bay" painted by Henrietta Shore in 1937. The mural is currently in the Postmaster's office on the front wall of the post office. The postmaster is happy to allow folks in to see the mural. He does not know why the mural is now in his office. He did say that at one time the mural was covered by paneling--there are nail holes in the mural that testify to this. He said it was discovered when there was an electrical problem and the workers removed the paneling and found the mural beneath. My theory is that when the lobby was renovated, it left no place to install the mural so it was put on the wall in the Postmaster's office.

New Deal mural entitled "Mining Village" painted by Stevan Dohanos in 1939. The mural was slated to be installed in the Huntington post office but the locals deemed it too depressing. It was then offered to the Logan, WV post office but declined. It finally was placed in the Forestry Building in Elkins. A second mural depicting a forest tower was painted as a compromise.

This photographic portfolio entitled “ANCESTRAL LANDSCAPES” is the result of an incredible journey in Scotland through breathtaking natural landscapes. Scotland landscape is a permanent theater, a mysterious drama in which the initial plot seems to come from ancient feuds or the echo of legends. Contrasting like its climate, Scotland offers a range of light and shadow carried by the impetuousness of the elements. Weather reports are more like predicting the future than science. As frustrating as it may sound, it forces you to make your day unexpected. The turbulence of time exacerbates the green of the hills, the darkness of the mountains and the density of the ocean. The caledonian bad weather offers atmospheres that seem to come out of the most fantastic tales and legends. In this interplay of shades and contrasts, Scotland is a perpetual painting that offers aesthetes the violence of its brushstrokes. Consistently tackling the elements in Scotland grabs you literally and figuratively. The wind blows across the plains, the rain draws a curtain over the landscape and the proud mountains impress. Scotland is home to some of the most stunning landscapes I have ever seen. Shaped by landslides and tectonic movements that have completely sculpted their surroundings, these landscapes instantly immerse you in an almost supernatural fantasy world. One does not expect to discover such an exciting landscape. Vastness constantly echoes within us through our eyes.

These are the pieces from my first solo show, entitled “The Ghost of the You Haunted Me..." held at Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago, IL on Sept 7, 2012.
This body of work is the culmination of many of the elements found in my custom toy work within my Forest of Sorrows narrative and I have strived to create a cohesive storyline that ties together many of the concepts and themes seen over the past couple of years.
In this story, when people pass onto the next life, those with unfinished business are taken to the Silva Dolorosa (The Forest of Sorrows) to begin a life anew, where the choices and decisions they make will determine how their lives turn out.
At the end of days as one’s life ebbs away, the Flederkanichen creatures arrive to shepherd these souls, manifested as a seed, and carry them to the Silva Dolorosa. Upon arriving, they drop the soul seeds down into the depths of the forest where the Saplings catch them, plant them in their heads waiting for them to bloom again, at which point they will plant them on the forest floor in the perfect place, so that the souls can begin their new lives.
On one particular day, with one particular soul seed dropped by the Flederkanichen, a big gust of wind blew the seed out of the hand of the Sapling assigned to it and it hit the ground, breaking the cardinal rule of the forest. It was at this moment that Locket, the geist girl was reborn in this limbo, confused and bewildered as to where she was. Frightened, she runs deep into the forest to discover who she was in her previous life, and what she was to become in the next.
Concurrently, at the moment at which Locket was born, the last guardian of the forest, the Hollow Knight, was awakened from deep slumber, tasked with ensuring the sanctity of the Silva and all of its denizens. He sets off on a quest to find Locket, only to encounter yet another new visitor to the forest - the ferocious and monstrous Blackwülf, who seems to be racing the Hollow Knight in a quest to reach Locket first.
This is the story of death, understanding, rebirth and redemption. I hope that the pieces I have created for this show will help to give an insight into this story that I have been telling.

The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs held a medal ceremony at the Woodbridge Center Mall on Nov. 1, to honor and recognize the services of New Jerseyans veterans from the various war conflicts. New Jersey veterans from World War II through current Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom received New Jersey's Distinguished Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Korean Service Medal or Vietnam Service Medal. As part of DMAVA's Veterans Outreach Program, the ceremony marks the start of a three-day visit of the veterans outreach kiosk where veterans and their family members can learn more about benefits or entitlements they could be elible for. The show entitled "Your emotional future" is the first solo exhibition by Olafur Eliasson in Eastern Europe. It will last from 21 May to 2 October 2011 at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv, Ukraine. The show is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 12am to 9pm. Admission is free.
The exhibition at the PinchukArtCentre is a milestone in the evolution of the artist’s oeuvre. With a total of 16 works presented on three floors – all of which, with a few exceptions, such as Beauty (1993) and Room for one colour (1997) – are from 2010/2011 and include numerous works especially created for the PinchukArtCentre.
12-14 June 2022, Cairo/Minya, Within the framework of implementing the project entitled “Improved Livelihoods, Nutrition and Empowerment of Rural Women and their Families affected by COVID-19 crisis in Minya Governorate - OSRO/EG/102/Canada” and its work plan, a visit to Cairo and Minya was foreseen for Mr Nikita Eriksen, GAC’s Food Security Specialist during the period 09 – 15 June 2022. Mr Eriksen is interested in the food crisis as it is a major preoccupation of senior management at Global Affairs Canada so his visit/discussion will be very relevant to informing Canada’s global and local response. He is also interested to better understand the particular challenges of the Egyptian agriculture sector and intersection with climate change
As per the attached Agenda, Mr Nikita Eriksen shall visit FAO office on the 12th of June then will undertake a field mission to Minya on the 13th and 14th of June to have an overview of the project implementation activities and attend a nutrition awareness campaign. The field mission shall take place in 2 villages: in Deir El Garnous, Maghagha District and in Derwa in Mallawi District.

An unsigned flyer entitled “A Black Beginning / African Liberation Day / A Common Black Struggle” calls for participants for the first African Liberation Day demonstration in Washington, D.C. May 27, 1972.
The nearly all-black crowd estimated at 12,000 began at Malcolm X Park and wound its way through Embassy Row where short rallies were held at the South African and Portuguese Embassies, the Rhodesian information office and the State Department where the US was denounced for evading international sanctions by permitting trade and investment in white-controlled African countries.
At the time white settler governments ruled over Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and South Africa, and Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau were still direct colonies of Portugal. Armed liberation struggles and political resistance were underway in all four countries by the overwhelmingly black population.
The march ended on the grounds of the Washington Monument that was renamed by the marchers “Lumumba Square” after assassinated Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba.
Speakers included Osusu Sadaukai, march organizer and president of the Malcolm X Liberation University in Greensboro, NC, Amiri Baraka, Haki R. Madhubuti, George Wiley, Cleveland Sellers, Elaine Brown and Walter Fauntroy. A telegram from Kwame Ture was read to the crowd.
Speakers voiced support for the liberation movements and condemned the US for its support of the minority regimes and for its prosecution of the Vietnam war.
The first meeting of 32 independent African countries to form the Organization of African Unity was held May 25, 1963. At the meeting Africa Freedom Day, that had been celebrated on April 15, was changed to May 25 and renamed African Liberation Day.

Ranunculus is a large genus of about 400 species of plants in the Ranunculaceae. It includes the buttercups, spearworts, water crowfoots and the lesser celandine (but not the greater celandine of the poppy family Papaveraceae).
They are mostly herbaceous perennials with bright yellow or white flowers (if white, still with a yellow centre); some are annuals or biennials. A few have orange or red flowers and occasionally, as in R. auricomus, petals may be absent. The petals are often highly lustrous, especially in yellow species. Buttercups usually flower in April or May but flowers may be found throughout the summer especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonisers, as in the case of garden weeds.
The Water crowfoots (Ranunculus subgenus Batrachium), which grow in still or running water, are sometimes treated in a separate genus Batrachium. They have two different leaf types, thread-like leaves underwater and broader floating leaves although for some species, such as R. aquatilis, a third, intermediate leaf form occurs.
Ranunculus species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Hebrew Character and Small Angle Shades. Some species are popular ornamental flowers in horticulture, with many cultivars selected for large and brightly coloured flowers.
The name Ranunculus derives from the Latin words rana (frog) and ulus (little). This probably refers to many species being found near water, like frogs.
In the interior of the Pacific Northwest of the United States the buttercup is called "Coyote’s eyes" — iceyéeyenm sílu in Nez Perce and spilyaynmí áčaš in Sahaptin. In the legend Coyote was tossing his eyes up in the air and catching them again when Eagle snatched them. Unable to see, Coyote made eyes from the buttercup.
All Ranunculus species are poisonous when eaten fresh by cattle, horses, and other livestock, but their acrid taste and the blistering of the mouth caused by their poison means they are usually left uneaten. Poisoning can occur where buttercups are abundant in overgrazed fields where little other edible plant growth is left, and the animals eat them out of desperation. Symptoms include bloody diarrhea, excessive salivation, colic, and severe blistering of the mucous membranes and gastrointestinal tract. When Ranunculus plants are handled, naturally occurring ranunculin is broken down to form protoanemonin, which is known to cause contact dermatitis in humans and care should therefore be exercised in excessive handling of the plants[1]. The toxins are degraded by drying, so hay containing dried buttercups is safe
The term sardonic (sardanios), "bitter or scornful laughter", is often cited as deriving from the name of the Sardinian plant Ranunculus sardous, known as either σαρδάνη (sardanē) or σαρδόνιον (sardonion). When eaten, it would cause the eater's face to contort in a look resembling scorn (generally followed by death). It might also be related to σαίρω (sairō) "I grin"
New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs participated at the Stand Down of North Jersey at John Fitzgerald Kennedy Pool and Recreation Center in Newark on Oct. 15. The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs held a medal ceremony at the Woodbridge Center Mall on Nov. 1, to honor and recognize the services of New Jerseyans veterans from the various war conflicts. New Jersey veterans from World War II through current Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom received New Jersey's Distinguished Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Korean Service Medal or Vietnam Service Medal. As part of DMAVA's Veterans Outreach Program, the ceremony marks the start of a three-day visit of the veterans outreach kiosk where veterans and their family members can learn more about benefits or entitlements they could be elible for. I'm sure for many tennis can be that one great passion in their life. For me, i just can't see it. I can't see any one thing that could be worth putting all my marbles in that basket. But if there was a Creator of the universe, if there was a Reason behind all the math and physics that underly matter, if there was a Grand Purpose, a First Cause, something that was the Start and the Reason for everything, the Alpha and Omega, something that grand could be it for me.
And that is the god i find revealed in the bible.

“‘Entitle’ is an elaborate light installation designed in the 18th-century Rococo style and crafted using the traditional techniques of Chinese lantern- making. Covering 10 square metres, the artwork features four large decorative towers, heavily ornamented with gold and brightly coloured flowers, which surround a base displaying a light-sculpture of a mother pig and her suckling young.
“Whilst it channels the ornamental excess of the Rococo, ‘Entitle’ is not intended to be just a decorative piece. Instead, artist Amanda Parer uses the work to make a statement about the consequences of overly indulgent contemporary lifestyles. The pig represents gluttony, and the flowers adorning the towers are not the pretty European flora that featured in the Rococo; instead, they are extinct species. The piglets feeding from their mother represent the ‘entrenched sense of multi-generational entitlement’ that exists in Western culture.
“In Europe during the 1700s, the Rococo was a period of excess. For those who could afford it, the lifestyle of the period was highly indulgent and based on the pursuit of pleasure at the expense of the other strata of society. The artwork of the time is reflective, with intricate floral and pattern designs featuring fanciful curves and the use of gold and bright colours.
“‘Entitle’ references both Eastern and Western culture to enhance the theme of overindulgence using the lavish Chinese lantern technique, the overly ornate Rococo-inspired design and the symbolism of the greedy pig.”

Entitled "Digital Progress, Human Success", we explored how the change brought about by the new Digital Transformation continues to change perspectives and to transform companies, individuals and societies through new ways of thinking; resulting from the technological and digital knowledge we have acquired.
All of this in the purest IE style, to reconnect with our former colleagues, meet new ones and enjoy moments of leisure the event such as lunch and dinner.
A sculpture entitled "A Monument to Vimto" (1992), carved out of an oak tree from a sustainable forest by Kerry Morrison, is situated on Granby Row in central Manchester. The sculpture commemorates the fact that Vimto was originally produced on this site. In front of the main University building.
