French enterprise Amilcar was a car ma- nufacturer, in business from 1921 to 1940.
This sports car was the best known model, nicknamed the Poor Man's Bugatti. A total of 4700 cars were manufactured.
The car features all 4 wheel mechanical brakes. The sports roadster's lightweight body is made of aluminium tin.
In the late 1920s, Latvian racer and yachtsman Jevgēņijs Kanskis was working at the Amilcar plant in France; there he purchased this automobile.
In 1935, J. Kanskis participated with this car in the prestigious Monte Carlo Rally and won the Tallinn-Riga stage. Later he turned to sailing and sold his car.
In the Motor Museum since 1989.
In 1977, this automobile was found in Tūja by AAC member A. Leibovics. The vehicle had lost its visual appearance and was rebuilt as a small truck. Over the course of several years, consulting with J. Kanskis, A. Leibovics restored the car.

In a deep fog that wraps anything the only lights you can see are that of running cars on the highway so the suspension effect is stronger and it seems to be into a science fiction movie

This photo of Enterprise captured at sunset, Iowa was taken on NE 46th Street, Polk County, Iowa just a few hundred feet north of NE 94th Avenue. Enterprise is an unincorporated community just east of Ankeny with a few homes and a large farm co-op.

At 2 PM on Sunday afternoon the final boat in the convoy, the Canadian Enterprise rounded the bend at the end of Belle Isle, She was heading downstream to the Windsor Salt Mines terminal for another load of salt.
She was preceded by the Canadian Progress (on her way to Port Colborne) and the the ice breaker CCGS Samuel Risley.

Its working days on the River Severn having ended in 1948, the 1930 built tug "Severn Enterprise" is seen here moored on the Thames in Kingston.
The Enterprise is nearly struck by the Klingons ... but then they stand down from Red Alert as they realize it is only a Perseid meteor.
Single capture with the wide angle Sigma lens of the Christmas Tree ornament 'hanging' in space in front of my large screen TV with one of the captures made this summer while in Cape Breton.
