SV-6 (DoDAF) view of DoD Business Enterprise Architecture 10.0 systems. An SV-6 shows the Information Exchanges (IEs) between automated systems. In this chord diagram, systems are aggregated by Core Business Mission and represented as arcs placed along the circumference of a circle. IEs are represented as quadratic Bézier curves and are sized based on the number of IEs. Built using d3.js with colors from colorbrewer.

Presented by a Uni of Auckland staff member whose name escapes me atm, but I think is the Manger of UoA Enterprise Architecture.
Fundamentally, was about using web2.0 such as a wiki for knowledge management, but due to complexity of system integration used an interative visual interface in conjunction with the wiki to make sense of the architecture relationships.
Really interesting, highly applicable to contexts other than IT. Also, given he is an IT geek, it was well presented, the powerpoints were a surprisingly good mix of images v text and interaction with the wiki.
