This is a newly planted vineyard between Halstead and Colchester, it is planted beside the road and is all very white! On close inspection the vines are very close together which would suggest it might be a nursery rather than an actual vineyard.

A small traditional fruitcake that's going to be kept for the christening, and 100 cupcakes (Lemon with Lemon Buttercream, Carrot with Lemon Buttercream) all iced in white sugarpaste and topped with red sugar blossoms

The Bride adores friesian cows so there was a subtle cow theme to this wedding, and I thought it all looked extremely cute :)

Last month I attended a tasting of English wines at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. There is not much English wine made, but it is getting better and better - have a look at my article on the Wine Rambler.
