This one cracks me up with all the giant snowflakes on Murray's nose! What a silly snow dog! :)
Meet Murray! He is the newest addition to our family. This was taken in early March when we first adopted Murray. He is a 5 1/2 month old English Lab puppy. His previous owners named him Murray. We are working on a new name. After all this time it kind of stuck and now we are having a hard time changing his name. Shortly after we got Murray he became deathly sick. The vet did an xray and found out Murray had a bowel obstruction. It was the previous owners baby's pacifier that Murray swallowed and almost killed him. The pacifier traveled through the small intestines into the large intestines and into his colon. The vet tried to fish out the pacifier from the colon but the colon was ready to rupture. The vet had no choice but to cut open the colon which was extremely dangerous and left Murray at risk of getting septic during recovery. The vet and staff did not know if Murray would survive this ordeal. They would go home and pray for him each night. Murray stayed in the hospital for a week and amazed the staff with his progress. Murray is a miracle and survived this horrible ordeal. These were taken before Murray got sick. He is fully recovered thanks to the amazing staff at Vale Park Animal Hospital, love, and prayers. We are so blessed to have this handsome boy in our lifes! :)
Exhausted from the puparrazzi! LOL! :)
Mommy thinks I look like Simba from the Lion King? What do you think?

I wanted to get a shot up today and I was running out of time. So, I put my SB600 in my softbox and used one of my favorite models. :) This is my chocolate lab, Dudley.
My yongnuo triggers and receivers came in on Friday. So, I have been toying around with them and my new lens, the 17-55 2.8DX.

This is my favorite picture of Murray. He has such an adorable face. How could anyone say no to him? The little stinker makes it really hard to get mad when he does naughty stuff. LOL!

Hatz of to Tracy's Molly Marie aka "Destructo Dog" - yes she thinks she is a cat sitting up on the back of the furniture!
I recently posted on my Facebook that my dog has one redeeming quality- she makes a good foot warmer.
Lately she has been a big pain in the ass. She is used to my husband playing with her everyday after he gets home from work. Well he has been away on business and I don't have time to play with her for what seems to be 24x7. I only have time for all the duties of a single parent of three kids with a 40 hr day job to keep up with which my dog doesn't seem to understand.
What she does understand is that she gets attention by doing things that drive me crazy.
She has chewed the end of a paintbrush, she has become the master at snatching things off of the counter and has shredded up paper plates and napkins , she somehow got a hold of a pizza box and shredded it all over the house, she loves my shoes, not anyone else's shoes, just mine... could go on and on and on and on....
The last straw was my daughter's homework, she is in high school and she spends hours working on her Art. Molly bellied up to the table and snatched her homework. She was so mad she punched the wall and bruised her knuckles.
So on Sunday I may send Molly away for a while to get the attention she needs along with some refresher training on doggie manners and obedience.
Or I may wait till Monday and send her to doggie day care, haven't decided yet, but something has gotta give!
It's so hard to keep our dog out of the water. One of his favorite spots to swim is at Kate's house in Wakefield NH. Last weekend we dropped him off while we went out in Wolfeboro. When we returned the next day, he was of course, soaked. Before we loaded him up, he was able to do a couple more retrieves, including one involving me blasting a diet coke can in the air with a 12 gauge shot gun, simulating a duck hunt. He performed like a champ. Here we thought he was going to run away with the blast of a gun. Good boy!
flickr, meet ollie. she is one of the five(!) dogs that were around over Christmas. Ollie is an avalanche rescue dog in Montana! So if you're ever unlucky enough to get caught in an avalanche in Bozeman and get dug out by this little girl, be sure to say hello from me.
