From our project "Wounded Landscape | New Lakeland"

 

The Lusatian brown coal mining region is absolutely fascinating. Disused opencast mines are beeing flooded to make the largest artificial lakeland in Europe. We experience the evolution of a new, humanly transformed landscape. Here we see a new park landscape between the power plant Boxberg and lake Bärwald.
