After I had spent some time at Mogshade Pond, I headed down through Bolderwood to find some areas that might still be foggy.
Thankfully at Vinney Ridge, next to the A35, the area was still quite foggy and the sun hadn't yet risen above the trees.

A Bronze age encampment wall. Hut circles abut the wall that was reconstructed after an archaeological dig. The Beck or stream can be seen to the top right of the image and this is very much Ilkley Moor. The rain didn't effect my Pentax, but softened some of my vintage lenses with a haze of mist. Not an easy trip, but great fun trying to dry the insides of your waterproofs.

This is the cat enclosure my parents built for their cats. Although they live on an acreage and the cats are mostly permitted to run free, my parents do not allow them to run free at night and/or while they are not home. With winter coming, the days are again getting shorter. So my parents decided to get a small enclosure so their cats can enjoy going outside even after dark. It is a dog kennel, converted into a cat enclosure. My parents added shelves since I took this photo and their cats have been using this enclosure already as the days are getting noticeably shorter already.

I visited Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary today, where they have two rescue foxes that live in a large enclosure.

More graduated filter fun on that grey day i spent in the capital. Gave up on my original plans and headed for the British Musuem to escape the unyielding flat light. Engaged the new graduated filters again to add a bit of impact to this shot of the BM and perhaps it worked better like this than with archidave blue cloudy sky?
Mr. Tuxedopants is actually just stretching his wings, but chickens can fly short distances. He and the rest of the Wright-Locke flock are back in their winter enclosure, after spending the summer in a small pasture.

Today's Sydney temperature reached 37 degree. Luckily I was around this little Paradise.
Tunnel Beach looking out from the tunnel. The sandstone cliffs to the left look like the broad brush strokes of a watercolour.

The American Eagle Foundation works to protect our Eagle population. Dollywood houses Bald Eagles that have been injured or for some reason would not survive if returned to the wild. There is a "bird show" right next to the eagle enclosure. You can learn about all kinds of birds, many of them native to East Tennessee. It's located in Craftsmans Valley. Just follow the creek.
Note: I mistakenly posted two of this shot, so I deleted the other one. It came right back. So if you see two of this picture, . . . . . well, I tried.
