Why did I shoot this? Well, I was struck by the sun dappled brambles encircling the tombstone....so tranquil, makes the afterlife seem appealing.

She's home!! They took her off oxygen on Friday and let her go home with Mom & Dad on Sunday.
I'm lucky that I get to take a business trip down in the San Diego area, since once I'm done, I'll just go over and visit the baby!!! YAY!

Here is an old picture from August 2007... I had convinced Emma to try some jump shots for me.
Emma voted in her first presidential election yesterday and has been following the issues closely since the early going. She shared with us today that she joined 1000+ students in the ISU quad last night in a peaceful celebration.
Emma works at the club Fang Banger as a host on Mondays.

De Emma liep in 1889 van stapel. Ze is een van de eerdere ijzeren tjalken; welke werf dit schip gebouwd heeft is niet bekend. Als vrachtschip voer ze op de Nederlandse binnenwateren. Door een groot laadvermogen en de vlakke brede bodem kan het schip op zowel grote, diepe als kleine, nauwe wateren varen. Dat was ooit. Nu is Emma een volledig gerenoveerd comfortabel stabiel zeilschip met een grote kindvriendelijke kuip, een ruim dagverblijf en accommodaties aan boord waarin maximaal 20 personen kunnen slapen. Het zeilplan werd begin van de 21ste eeuw weer omgebouwd naar het ook in 1889 bestaande 1-mast gaffeltuigage, wat zowel de zeileigenschappen als de traditionele uitstraling ten goede komt en geheel in stijl is met de visie van eigenaar en schipper Peter Spek, die liever zeilt dan op de motor vaart.

Was a lovely day yesterday, so best to make the most of it whilst the sun was shining. So I picked up my friend Emma and we drove to Stourhead to take some photos.
I particularly liked this one.....though I have plenty more to post. Hope everyone had a good Easter :-)

Little sleeping Emma. Emma war hier gerade mal 10 Wochen alt, war noch dreckig und hat gestunken, aber ein paar Wochen später wurde sie eine liebe und freche Katze, die Haus und Hof gegen fremde Katzen verteidigt.
