Au loin, Risin et Kellingin, deux rochers gigantesques l'un massif, l'autre élancé (respectivement 71 et 68 m) qui émergent des eaux à la pointe de l'île d'Eysturoy. Selon la légende, Risin (le géant) et Kellingin (la sorcière) -devaient attacher ensemble les 18 îles de l'archipel afin de les ramener jusqu'à leur Islande natale. Pour les punir, les dieux, furieux, les ont figés en ces deux impressionnants pitons… tournés vers l'Islande.
