Just something I felt like uploading.

That is a Rat Embryo I bought from Tiny Doll, That is a coyote skull and those are some lights from Target.

THIS IS PART 2 of 2 (flip back & forth between this and Fire Of Fall on my stream)

For those that are into SecondLife Photography, I am sure you will know of the EMBRYO sim. If somehow you do not - YOU NEED TO! The landscape builders of thise sim create some of the most nature-realistic and artist lands in SL.

And their builds change with the seasons. The reason I tell you all this is because I took this photo in October when it was fall (in RL and in SL on this sim). So, if you go to this link I provided you now it will not be what you see in this photo manipulation artwork I am showing you. Its winter in Embryo now :)

Anyway, photo manip is HALF of a 2-Part artwork. The two works I created are of the exact same base photo I took at Embryo of a gorgeous peaceful fall day by a little shimering blue pond with the marvelous fiery fall colors in the trees.

The key word is "FIERY" when I talk of my 2-Part work.

In the FIRST artwork called "FIRES OF FALL" toysoldierthor.deviantart.com/art/Fires-Of-Fall-189124130 , the intent of the work FIRE is an artistic description of the bright red & yellow colors of the leaves as they change in fall. The work expression peace, tranquility, bliss of the season and the location.

This is the SECOND artwork called "FOREST INFERNO". The fires expressed in the same photo are clearly taken much more literally. Yet, the ironic experiment I was going after was to use the same reds and yellows of the fall leaves and convert them into forest fire flames of hell. I used a couple of my own created textures with a combination of blending levels to explode this peaceful place in to a forest inferno.

(In my younger days I used to fight forest fires in northern Canada - so I guess there is still a passion/interest in me regarding forest fires).

Embryo is officially a fetus!!! WOO HOO!! The FETUS is the size of a kumquat, swallowing amniotic fluid, moving, flexing elbows and knees, growing fingernails and toenails, and its vital organs are beginning to function. Read more: www.babycenter.com/6_your-pregnancy-10-weeks_1099.bc

Amazingly, they cut out a section of the egg wall and replace it seamlessly with a clear window. Visitors can then watch the embryonic sharks developing and moving around inside until they hatch normally.

A lucky section though a tubal conceptus shows two concentric sacs. The outer one is the chorion, bristling with chorionic villi. The inner one is the yolk sac. The remainder of the embryo, including the amnion, is outside the section plane and not visible.

my axolotls decided to lay eggs and now the babies can be seen inside! im so excited!!! this one looks white but i think its going to be a golden colour like its mother... there are others that are whiter, and there are black ones too. woo!

April 29th 2012.

This is a wild-type larva. Note the widespread migration of chromatophores (the pigment cells) off the neural crest down along the flanks. Compare to the other embryo from this date (leucistic). The gills are developing well and the eyes are starting to form. The white area is the stomach, which is colored by the yolk within.

Embedded in the uterus wall, a groove has formed down the centre of the embryo. This neural tube marks the midline of the body and will eventually develop into the spine and spinal cord.

Cells at on end have specialised to forma bump which will eventually fold around to form the skull, brain and face. The mother has probably only discovered she's pregnant within the last week.
