Now you have some strange looking edges because you moved the top layer. Click on the crop tool. Make sure "Current layer only" is UNchecked. Crop just inside the border to get rid of any weird edges.
The only progress I've made so far on the embossed leaves socks. Given the lack of yarn for the current sock project, I've started these to keep me busy until I can get more.
This was the first time I've ever cast on with a different method - I've never done a 1x1 rib cast on before, so it took me a couple of tries to get it right. Now that the cast on is done, I should be able to make some good progress over the weekend.
It's also the first time I've ever used a lace chart, but it doesn't seem to difficult to follow.
Embossed pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks by C. Schurch. The pattern shows more definition on the page than in reality, but using a solid colour yarn probably helped also. Yarn is Essential sock yarn from KnitPicks, 100% superwash wool. Enjoyable to knit with and feels good on. Nice and soft. I will use it again depending on how well these wear.
I adhered strips of washi tape to vellum to retain the "washiness". Then I embossed several different HA flowers in white and cut them out. I added (or tried to anyway) turquoise flocking to the flower centers. Stamped HA herringbone and sentiment and clipped it to a flower petal. Added twine and button. Papers are Authentique, Lily Bee, and Studio Calico.
Thanks for looking!

This card is dry and heat embossed. It's also my first attempt at using blender pens. I'm not crazy about it but it's not too bad I guess. Hubby says it looks watercolored, I guess it does.

I wound this skein of yarn as soon as I got back from Maryland Sheep & Wool! I couldn't wait to cast it on and I knew I wanted to knit Embossed Leaves again.

Gold embossed bee stamp and then a melange of dark and copper leaf edges from the scrolly leaf stamp seen in full on the other leaf card.
I started another pair of Embossed Leaves socks from Favorite Socks since I don't wear the pair I made previously. This time I'm using The Sanguine Gryphon Eidos sock yarn in Socrates, and this time they will match. ;) I love the way the colors look so far!
Edited Curiosity image of a solar eclipse by Phobos run through an embossing algorithm in my program.
My footprint on a beach. The illusion that it is embossed appealed to me. This was during " Kodak film" days. Perhaps 8 or 9 years old.

pre-embossed wax sheets for the bees to start their honey cells. a small strip (as shown) can be used although it takes the bees longer to extend the pattern. but they do it. tensioned steel strings are attached to strengthen the honey comb so it does not break off.
Embossing subtly adds design elements that can be raised or embedded. The tumbled stone finish and embossed design have been burnished to a high polish. Visit us at www.periwinkleskies.net
