The inscriptions on many of the grave stones outside All Saints Parish Church are now covered in moss, but on this one in particular, the words can still be made out!
I finished these before leaving for Maryland Sheep & Wool but forgot to post them. I really love the Embossed Leaves pattern--it's so easy and works up really quickly, but the result is so pretty. These are socks I'll be making again in the future.
The Madelinetosh Tosh Sock is wonderful--excellent stitch definition and yardage. I had a lot of yarn left over after finishing these. I would work with it again in the future.

It is thought that this might be a portrait of J.Q. Prentiss. The photo card is embossed with "J. M. Harkles, 27 Union St., College Hill, Valparaiso, Ind." I don't have anybody named J. Q. Prentiss in my family tree so I have no idea who this is.
This photo is unidentified. It came from the family of Newton Leroy Cole (1886 – 1959) and "Minnie Belle" Wilhimena Isabelle Sheets (1886 – 1953). It once was owned by the family of Lyal Newton Cole (1908-1955) and Agnes Berniece Barkley (1911-1991).
This is probably from the Cole, Sheets, Barkley or Weddle families of Indiana.
