This is an experiment, obviously not done on AI and a rather quick experiment, I did not put that much time into it but felt that I should do a work to address my concerns. I have been reading a great deal about AI recently and have many friends who love to use it and the works they produce are excellent inside and outside the art and science world. I have to admit that it has and still does scare me. It is a brilliant platform but there are many who can and may do great harm to our global society, Also it is taking away jobs from people who desperately need to work and don't have the qualifications to find work. Our society is made up of different people with different abilities therefore I was happy to read the following article which may or may not interest you:

Sadly the part of robots taking over from people, does not seem to be a concern, but it has been addressed so hopefully good changes can be made. We desperately need to work together, and be all inclusive giving everyone the chance to have a good life.

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

There is a disturbance in The Force. The information superhighway seems to have lost its direction.

I'm not a user but even so it's followers seem to want to drag us into some freaky places.

Rocket launch over Lake Cuyamaca. This caught me by surprise - had I known in advance that this launch was going to happen, I would have used a wider-angle lens to capture the rocket AND reflection on the lake. This one went by too fast.

Elon Musk is the rocket man.

Just as the laws of physics would espouse the triangles in the sky in the first photograph proceed through the sequence of pictures, each at Eight Seconds of open Shutter time, as a diminishing light trail that is visible approaching the horizon taking seemingly longer to recede from sight. The fixed observer through the camera pictures sees the triangles in one image and then their condensed light trail is seen again and again racing to the horizon. The curvature of path of the satellite and the curvature of the atmosphere of planet Earth combine to make the trajectory through the camera pictures appear to differ and to slow as it takes just the right amount of time to arc on and on returning and repeating the orbital trace of a near Earth bright object.

The triangle lights are being seen in many peoples photographs in 2023 to 2024. There are links to the triangular lights all over the web. With a host of Aurora Borealis hunters looking at the huge current surge in Aurora within the night sky the Triangles have been much seen and widely reported on all around The World. I see some reports that these lights are SpaceX Starlink satellites.

These pictures taken with Minolta16mm f2.8 Fisheye lens, Lightroom and other recognition software believes that it is SAL16F28 a Sony 16mm f2.8 Fisheye lens. There are no lens profile adjustments made to the images. Just as I do not make adjustments to the images to be treated as taken by a Sony Lens I do not try to find out how to undo any incorrect attribution. The two lenses could be very similar even near identical, all I know is that this wonder is from Minolta. This description is way too long, is it oft stated if I had more time then I would send better in fewer words?

Hands Off! Protest in Vero Beach, Florida on April 5, 2025. A large crowd of over 2000 showed up to protest Trump and Elon Musk policies and the havoc caused by DOGE. This was one of 1200 locations where people raised their voices across the nation with more than 5 million participating. Resist!

This is the Crew-4 launch of April 27, 2022. At 3:52am (ET) a SpaceX Falcon9 rocket carried the Crew 4 mission to orbit, and eventually the International Space Station.

This image is a composite of two images. The first was captured one-minute before the launch, and it shows the Milky Way (ISO3200, 25-secs and f2.8). The second image is the rocket streak, shown in a 308-second exposure (at ISO100 and f16), captured from a location north of Kennedy Space Center, from the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and the (aptly named) Mosquito Lagoon.

SpaceX launched the latest batch of 49 Starlink satellites during the second launch window last night at 9:02 p.m. EST from LC-39A on the Kennedy Space Center. The first stage booster B1060, completed its' 10th launch and landing on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas.

SpaceX launched the Japanese ispace Hakuto-R Mission 1 robotic moon lander, and NASA's micro-satellite called Lunar Flashlight to look for signs of water ice hidden in the permanently dark crater floors of the moon's poles. After launch, booster B1073 returned to land at LZ-2 on the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

This is such an inspired event I need to post one more time before I "retire". ;-)

As a 20 something in 1981 I remember seeing the movie Heavy Metal and being wowed with the sight of an animated 1959 Corvette being dropped from the storage bay of a space shuttle for re-entry into earth's atmosphere. Now, here we are in 2018 and Elon Musk (Who has probably seen the movie), just blew my mind with his Tesla Roadster (complete with Starman) in space footage.

Here is my homage to Elon's vision.

I can't believe he did it. Elon Musk is the man!

Tesla In Space

Perhaps the inspiration?

Heavy Metal - Corvette Landing

An amazingly well done fan remake of the original.

Heavy Metal - Corvette Landing 2015

We couldn't have asked for clearer skies for the Monday night #SpaceX #Starlink #Falcon9 launch. I've never framed a shot with the out-to-sea entry burn in mind, but the clear skies (and Declan Murphy's prediction -- more on that in a moment) made me think it would be visible. But 6-ish minutes after launch, there it was, the bright light of the first stage, descending through the atmosphere.

That's my favorite part about this photo -- the thin line above the green post in the water. There's also a bird standing on the green post, just hanging out.

I was in Titusville for this shot, looking across the Indian River at the A. Max Brewer Bridge. There was a significant crowd gathered on the bridge, and it was fun to hear the excited reaction to the launch.

My last trip to this location was back in 2017 for the SpaceX Echostar launch. This was pre-flightclub.io, and I had misjudged the trajectory generally, so I failed to realize (until I saw my shot) that the Echostar launch trajectory was basically due east, which meant my streak was just a short line, straight up. I was not pleased. But, all that was avoided with this launch. And, flightclub well-predicted the location of the entry burn, which was ultimately why I chose this location.

In terms of the anatomy of this photo, there's the first stage (the big streak), the second stage (the faint reddish streaks low on the horizon), the entry burn and 24-minutes of star trails as they spun around the sky before the launch. (The final image is a composite of 52 frames.)

And, thanks again to my We Report Space colleagues, who well-covered the launch up-close.

The TESLA Model 3 was presented as a prototype at the end of March 2016 and has been in production since July 2017, and has also been available in Europe since February 2019. With around 1 million vehicles delivered by mid-2021, it is the best-selling electric car in the world.

Good morning, #Falcon9.

That's not a huge sunspot, it's the #SpaceX #Starlink launch.

Off for a bit this week having my flying saucer repaired. Took Elon Musk's recommendation and brought the ship to Coyote, proprietor of Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs Service located in the desert along I-8 in scenic Jacumba, California.

This is a single, 483 second exposure of the Falcon9 CRS9 rocket, launched (and landed!) at 12:45a on July 18, 2016 from CCAFS by Elon Musk and SpaceX. The streak to the left is the launch streak and then the straight line to the right shows the landing of the first stage of the Falcon9 rocket approximately 9 minutes after launch.

Most launch and landing streaks are a composite; this is a single image. Also, people ask why the clouds don't appear to have moved in the image, and the answer is simple: it's 12:45 in the morning, so with the exception of the moment that the rocket is passing through them, the clouds are not visible; it's night and therefore the sky is dark (the aperture setting is f22).

Also, this photo was chosen as NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) for July 21, 2016. More details on the launch available here: apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap160721.html

(Edited to add that this photo was published in the November, 2016 issue of National Geographic Magazine.)

Liftoff of the Crew-3 mission! At 9:03 pm (ET) Wednesday night, a SpaceX Falcon9 rocket launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, sending a Crew Dragon capsule and its crew of 4 astronauts to orbit. NASA's Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn, Kayla Barron, and ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer are going to the International Space Station.

Liftoff!

At 3:13am (ET) Thursday morning, a #SpaceX #Falcon9 rocket sent a batch of #Starlink satellites to orbit, seen here from CCSFS.

It was a lovely night, clear enough to see the reentry burn over the Atlantic.

It may look space age and expensive, but I think it's pretty ugly! On the other hand, it's pretty interesting to see!

Spotted on the square in Fayetteville, TN

At 7:27pm (ET) Sunday, NASA astronauts Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker and JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi lifted off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center and historic LC-39A for their mission aboard the International Space Station. The SpaceX Crew Dragon, named "Resilience" by the crew, is the first human-rated commercial spaceship, and this launch marks the return of operational spaceflight from American soil.

Mere minutes after successfully launching the Falcon Heavy rocket on the first try today, SpaceX was live streaming footage from Tesla Roadster it released into space. The stream was oscillating between the three cameras mounted to the car and the data feed from SpaceX HQ that shows the rocket stage’s trajectory.

The live stream lasted for 4.5 hours until the connection dropped. The final burn was successful according to Elon Musk. The Roadster was originally scheduled to go to Mars, but now it’s going to the asteroid belt.

Obviously I did not take this photo. I took a screenshot of a SpaceX YouTube webcast, processed a balanced HDR photo from it, and carefully adjusted the curves and color balance.
