Sant’Elia is a small fraction of the municipality of Santa Flavia, in the province of Palermo.
The inhabited center, founded around the seventeenth century, located largely on a promontory overlooking the sea, was initially born as a fishing village dependent on an ancient trap.

In addition to the renovations and garden work, I continued to fold, of course, no big surprise here ;-))
Here you see an origami cat-model, by Fred Rohm. Folded from a 15x15cm black washi-paper with cuts creating for the legs. Final size: height 12cm, width 8cm.

At the edge of the basin is a relatively large church, known as the Church of Elijah. According to traditions, Moses and Elijah probably visited the same place where they had a vision.
The mountains of Sinai surrounding Saint Catherine are packed with many religious history and symbolism.
Shot before the beginning of the 3,000 steps of the Stairway of Repentance that lead down to St. Catherine's Monastery. It is also below the 750 final steps to the summit.
A storm settles in above Alaska's Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge.
One of the benefits of my trip to Alaska in the summer was to have a much longer autumn season, regarding foliage. This was taken on August 29th and the colors were already turning beautifully. A month earlier then when the fall foliage begins in WA. Nice!
"Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge is part of the world’s largest contiguous conservation unit, sharing a border with Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve and Kluane National Park in Canada. The Alaska Highway borders the refuge, providing unique opportunities to access the area.
Lying near the Canadian border, Tetlin is one of only two refuges in Alaska that are road accessible. It harbors a varied landscape, from rugged snowcapped peaks and glacially fed rivers to tundra, forest, and wetlands. The Refuge was established to conserve waterfowl, raptors and other migratory birds, furbearers, moose, and caribou—which lie in abundance within its borders.

This building fascinated me. While certainly in need of some plastering and a good paint job, its old beauty is still recognizable.

The plants close up are Agave, (Agave americana), common names sentry plant, century plant,[4] maguey or American aloe,[5] is a species of flowering plant in the family Agavaceae, native to Mexico, and the United States in New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Today, it is cultivated worldwide as an ornamental plant.

Cyprus’ rich cultural heritage also includes a good number of medieval bridges that are still standing after many centuries since they were built. Three of these Venetian bridges are found deep in Paphos Forest, i.e. Roudias, Tzelefos and Elia Bridge. The one I am posting today is Elia Bridge, the smallest of the three, captured a month ago in its autumn suit.
For those interested, this is a single RAW shot, with my Nikon D750 and Nikon 14-24 f/2.8. Exposure for of 6 seconds at f/11 and ISO 100, with Lee 6-stop ND filter.

Gunman's friend Elias is a such strong guy, as it usually happens with all Mitgardians.
He can carry three barrels ful of spikes at a time to his warehouse.
He built his warehouse on his own and decided to give the roof an innovative design in order to better protect it from the elements.
Also we can notice the weird plant species that appear to prevail at the region around his house..
