Lake Waihola is a tidal freshwater lake located km north of Milton in Otago, in New Zealand's South Island. Its area is some 9 square kilometres, with a maximum length of 6 kilometres
The Heron was being chased off by three seagulls - they chased the Heron for at least a mile before they finally backed off. Initially it was the loud noise and screaching of sea gulls that drew my attention to them all.

i miss the touch of delicate blooms when they first come in spring.

all through our lives we are asked questions to things
things big and small and sometimes meaning nothing at all
things to do with facts in our lives
things to do that mean we must go for the deep dive
but my favorite questions are always the same
could be from a child or a friend or someone not as tame
hey, they say, why is that cat always there
or
when are you going to pick up that big piece of hair
to which i say, au contraire mon frère
it is just part of my life not a bit of worry or strife
so leave it alone, now just go home!!!!!!!
