Mist and fine drizzle created fabulous macro opportunities this morning! Zoom in to see the acer leaves in each droplet on the web :)
Earth - made into the bricks of the background wall.
Fire - the sun reflected in the droplets.
Water - droplets on the clematis seed-head and the bricks.
Air - blue sky reflected in the droplets, and the seeds are distributed by the wind.

Rackham Hill in the South Downs National Park, England.
I was surprised at the attention the last one received, so I am bringing another out that I had done.
Better on black as usual...

Another take on that small area of the falls with the leaves. It never hurts to explore a subject multiple ways. Jackson Falls, Tennessee, USA, June 2022

The people of Japan have a real appreciation of aesthetics. Great care is taken in choosing the colour combinations in the presentation of food for example. This is an old photograph which I recently re-discovered taken in the ancient village of Takayama. It was fascinating to walk the streets and see how much thought had been put into the colours of the floral displays and to see how they complemented their surrounds. (R0000957A)

Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse, Liverpool
Designed by Jesse Hartley, Stanley Dock opened on 4 August 1848. The dock is the only one in Liverpool which was built inland, all the others being built out from the foreshore. The original quay warehouses are of a similar design to those at Albert Dock and are grade II* listed buildings. The warehouses were built to five storeys, covering an area of 12,000 sq yd (10,000 m2). Between 1897-1901, the southern part of the dock was filled in to build the large Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse by Anthony George Lyster. The northern warehouse has since been developed in to a hotel devoted to the White Star Line's RMS Titanic liner, which has strong links to the area's history of docks and shipping.
