… climate, hills, suspension bridge, trams … Lisbon and San Francisco now have another feature in common :-)
Choisissez votre sujet, camarades !
Bloody things, zooming around on pavements and generally being an effin’ nuisance….in my day etc, etc

The Kugoo electric scooter is not mine (unfortunately). I don’t own any type of transport at all, but some owners leave their cars in interesting beautiful places, it’s hard for me to pass by and not take a photo :)

The scooter was abandoned in the circle and also a pair of shoes, a new portal in Tulsa or a pad to beam up?????
Fun to see the fad sweep the country and now this summer Tulsa had them buzzing down the streets, should be interesting Saturday looks like the first snow fall is heading our way, snow and scooters.
When I wanted to give this a title my immediate reaction was a "gaggle" of scooters (as in a "gaggle of geese"). So I was delighted when I looked it up that this is in fact now the proper collective noun for this sudden proliferation of electric scooters in the landscape.
Arizona State University students looking for a bargain and found cheep transportation at Tempe Town Lake. Choosing to wear a mask rather than social distance.
Not only do we see a car driving through this intersection, but a whole row of electric scooters for hire stand waiting for customers.
can be found literally EVERYWHERE all over town. People seem to dump them where ever they think they can
Scooter Boy.. (EXPLORED)
Last Thursday we went for a trip through downtown Brampton, everywhere you look you see these new scooters for rent scattered throughout the city this was the first time i had seen someone actually riding one.
He was actually going pretty fast, he was probably doing around 35kmph which seems fast to mne for a electric scooter. I wondered why he wasn't wearing the helmet that is attached to each scooter.

Sans titre (Parc du château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, février 2025)
I spent a few hours in the park of the Château de Saint Germain en Laye last Friday looking for plays of light and shadow to photograph. Because it was one of the rare truly sunny days since January! At the bend in a path in the park at the end of the afternoon, I came across three young people traveling on the same electric scooter! That looks like a lot of fun! this is the only photo taken of this sudden encounter!
on a day where the mist claims the skies, the shoreline of palmanova breathes quietly. a lone figure, clad in the luminous vest of duty, walks beside the calm sea, electric scooter in tow — a silent sentinel in the serene hush of winter. the fog lays a softening filter over the landscape, muting the colors of the beach and the trees, making the mountains appear as distant shadows. this tranquility is palpable, a stark contrast to the bustling summer months. it's a moment captured, where time slows, and palmanova's winter whispers are felt rather than heard.
Even though temperatures were approaching 100°F, some were out enjoying the trail around Tempe Town Lake, Tempe, Arizona, USA. Also know as the Rio Salado Pathway. This young rider seems to be feeling the thrill of the fast moving scooter. He may find out he catches a few bugs if he rides with his mouth open the whole time. 😃
Unlike Melbourne, Perth has embraced the use of these electric scooters. I was only in Perth for a few days so I can only assume they are not suffering from the mis-use and accidents that befell the Lime Scooters here in Melbourne. Perhaps the better weather, smaller city and less traffic have led to this current outcome. Happy Bench Monday
