I was surprised today at the polling place that the only campaigner loitering around outside trying to sway voters at the last moment was a proponent of the above library issue. In past years I remember having to pass by a gaggle of people all desperately trying to push their particular cause. And I always wondered if this tactic could be at all successful. Is an undecided voter really going to make up his mind to vote for Bob Smith because that guy in the green shirt out in the parking lot told him to? Do the incoming voters ever approach these last-moment-campaigners seeking info on the candidate or issue to help them make up their mind? I rather doubt it. So what's the point?
Anyway the issue 127 campaigner was very pleasant...she just greeted voters as they walked by, with no mention of the issue. Of course, she was dressed in the "team colors" of yellow and blue, and had more than a couple buttons and stickers decorating her vest.
Last night I got home and diligently read all the election material. Even the scribbled out bit on the Conservative candidates material telling me the wrong documents I need to vote. After careful consideration Dominos seems like the one for me.

I voted today in the Canadian Federal election! I'll be watching the results after the polls close tonight.
Como, 2 Febbraio - 4 Marzo 2018. Trentuno foto scattate a partire dall'inizio della campagna elettorale sino al giorno delle votazioni politiche nazionali (compreso). Quasi surreale lo scarso uso di manifesti; praticamente nessuna scritta politiche sui muri, mentre si nota la presenza di piccoli adesivi, attaccati prevalentemente sui pali. Mi sono ispirato al "Saggio sulla Lucidità " di Saramago nel pubblicare le bandiere italiana ed europea all'inizio ed alla fine della serie.
