~ Many good wishes to all my flickr friends on this day, for whatever
you are celebrating! We are all in this human experience together,
and should rejoice in every celebratory day. And on this day in particular,
a once-in-a-millennium combination, the following will all occur on the
21st March 2008: Peace, peace, peace.
Good Friday ~ the day Jesus died on the cross, marked by a billion
Christians around the globe. To be followed in two days by Easter
Sunday, to mark his Resurrection.
Purim ~ a Jewish festival celebrating the Biblical book of Esther.
Nowrouz~ the Persian New Year, which is observed with Islamic
elaboration in Iran and all the '~stan'; countries, as well as by
Zoroastrians and Baha'is.
Eid Milad -un-Nabi~ the Birth of the Prophet [saw], which is
celebrated by some but not all Sunni Muslims and, though officially
beginning on Thursday [20th], is often marked on Friday [21st].
Small Holi~ an Indian Hindu festival of bonfires, to be followed on
Saturday by Holi, a kind of Mardi Gras.
Magha Puja~ a celebration of the Buddha's first group of followers,
marked primarily in Thailand.

On the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi ul Awal (Eid Milad un Nabi), the day of Prophet Mohammad's arrival in the world, HH Younus AlGohar reflects on the character and teachings of the Prophet. He presents food for thought on the current state of Muslims.
Main points:
The Quran tells us two things about the Prophet Mohammad: firstly that he is mercy for entire universe and secondly that he is of the most sublime character. He is God's masterpiece.
Prophet Mohammad's character is so amiable that one begins to love him involuntarily.
When Wahhabism emerged 200 years ago, they excluded the love of Prophet Mohammad from the religion. The head of the body of Islam is the love of Prophet Mohammad (saw). Wahhabis do not just behead people; they have beheaded the religion of Islam. Daesh, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabab and Boko Haram all follow Wahhabism.
If you fully imitate the Prophet Mohammad you will never hate anybody or kill anybody. The Quran commands Muslims to imitate the Prophet Mohammad if they want to love God.
Muslims barred the rest of the world from becoming recipients of Prophet Mohammad's blessings. But the Awaited One Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi will give His blessings to all humanity - on behalf of Himself and on behalf of the Prophet Mohammad.
Wahhabism must be eradicated. Muslim parents in the west must moderate their children's activity on the internet because ISIS use the Internet now to recruit youth.

Take bath in the evening of the 11th or on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal. If possible, buy everything new, for example, white clothes, turban, bandana, cap, shawl, Miswak, handkerchief, slippers, rosary, Iṭr (perfume), wristwatch, pen, Qāfilaĥ pad etc. in order to solemnize this Eid of Eids. (Islamic sisters should also buy new things according to their needs).
Men’s shaving their beard or trimming it less than a fist-length - both acts are Ḥarām. Non-compliance of Islamic sisters in observing Pardaĥ is a Ḥarām act. By virtue of auspicious occasion of Rabi-ul-Awal, Islamic brothers are requested to make intention for bearing fistful beard permanently and Islamic sisters are requested to make the intention of observing Shar’i Pardaĥ, preferably wearing a Madani Burqa’. (Man’s shaving his beard or trimming it less than a fist-length and woman’s negligence in observing Pardaĥ is Ḥarām. It is Wājib to repent of these sins instantly and give them up).
