A china egg tray with two marble, two ceramic, and two plastic eggs. Processed with Jjixipix portrait painter, romantic, and kyoobik photo for Smile on Saturday's "eggs-periment" theme.
I use portrait painter and romantic often, but kyoobik was a true experiment since I only tried it once and didn't keep any of the resulting images. (It was included in a jixipix packet of effects I wanted. But when I tried it, my opinion was, hmm, there are a lot of photos this doesn't work with!).

Today is a black & white day at Color My World Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday.
I must admit: Sunday is my least favorite day of the week…Of cours it is my running day (which is great) but it is the end of the weekend which always makes me a little bit nostalgic and not looking forward to Monday … but that is life so what you can do ? Nothing ! So lets just enjoy our Sunday at it is and eat an egg…

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a yellow day at Color my world Daily and just for this occasion I have a new prop to show you. I ordered the transparent egg, thinking how cool it was and all the pictures I would do using it… Unfortunately it is way more « sticky » and « gluey » than I assumed. The transparent egg, doesn’t want to stand or to float… It has to lay flat and that is honestly its best « profile ». All the concepts I had in my head for pictures using this transparent egg are undoable. I’m rather disappointed with this new prop. After few days of playing with it (very gently !!) it starts to crack and has dust all over it (I have to wash it with soap every few hours since it looks disgusting !!). The morale of this story: transparent squishy eggs aren’t as fun as they appear in pictures and in my imagination…

Today is a yellow day at Color my World Daily and we will celebrate that (again) with an egg picture. Yes, I’m having eggs this morning for sure with a coffee. This should give me lots of energy to jumpstart my day.
Another video meeting will start in a few minutes and honestly I wonder where did the time go ? It is already mid December and we have only a few video meetings left… And I have a strange feeling that I will miss those meetings… But something tells me that working from home isn’t over yet ! We are supposed to have another lockdown during the holidays so the video meetings will still be there in 2021…

Today is a pink or a purple day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is eggs from chickens & co. Of course in my case it will be chicken eggs since that is the only kind of eggs I have in my kitchen right now….
And since yesterday was a B&W picture, let's put some colors on my today’s post. Be careful: very bold and bright colors ahead !! I don’t want you to burn your retina by watching my picture for too long…As for the eggs in my picture: those are my favorite painted eggs (I painted them myself) from my personal collection. You have seen some of them in previous pictures …. We all know by now that chicken floating eggs are my favorite of all times !!

Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is : pigs and piglets ! Isn’t that awesome !!
Of course, instantly I decided to go with a flying « egg-piglet » ! I can assure you : they do exist !!! However, flying « egg-piglets » are almost as fast as flying elephants and as rare as levitating eggs ! You have to be really, really patient, keep you eyes on the sky and never blink when you look for them !
Since I wasn’t sure if flying « egg-piglets » were allowed for this theme, I just add a mini me made of Lego in a piglet disguise since lately I eat like a piglet and I started to feel like one !
The flying « egg-piglet » in my picture was made by me to illustrate this very rare but existing specie and I truly hope it will make you smile !!

A lovely little friend sent me these eggs that I meant to paint for Easter, and it became a project I put off! It is HARD to hand paint eggs because, well, you just get your fingers in it eventually and mess it up! I don't give up easily, though, so I am still dabbling with it!!

I know, I did numerous pictures of eggs here on this Photostream (note to myself: maybe i should put them all in one album ??) but eggs are very inspiring.
Not only you can put them in many situations and positions, eggs will always be able to get back on their feet (or will they ??? Do they even have feet ???). If you dont like pictures of eggs, you can always eat them and you will have plenty of energy for your day !
So eggs rocks !

this is some fancy egg cup made of a metal spiral .... these egg cups are nice to look at, but impractical, because you can't put peeled egg shells into them ;))
Looks a bit like a Warp tunnel / hole, doesn't it ?
