Snape on tour took me to Ruddington for part 1 & 3 broken up with a single trip to Edwalton.

Hitachi 'Intercity Express Programme' or IEP number 800001 glides through Stanton on the Wolds on 23rd February 2016 working a test train from Edwalton to Asfordby. The IEP is billed as the best thing since the HST concept in the 1970s and will be common sights along the GWML and ECML by the end of the decade

The 125th anniversary livery worn by 627/YN14MUV is one I've captured before, but will more than happily keep capturing as it arises. On the 4th of November, it found itself on Bridgford Bus duties, as shown here with a 6 to Edwalton.
Seen parked proudly in the summer sun at the Edwalton turn around point of the 6 Bridgford Bus. I'm personally a fan of the Enviro 400City bodywork, and a big fan of Scania vehicles, so this combination for me was a win win.
Nottingham City Transport's YP17 UFC (403) is seen waiting time at Wellin La Terminus, Edwalton (turning circle) before taking a 6 to the City Centre and around the City Loop. The 6 operates up to every 15 minutes, and is one of the bus routes branded as "Bridgford Bus." YP17UFC was new in June 2017 to the municipal (council owned) operator. It is a Scania N280UD/Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro 400CBGCity, which is gas powered.
Something you won't see as much from the weekend.... Sunday 5s!! I hadn't realised that the 5A was running every day, on Sundays, the 5A runs between 9am and 6pm, the normal 5 kicking back in afterwards until 11pm.

67018 "Keith Heller" leads UK Railtours "Pieman one" tour from Euston to Old Dalby through Husborne Crawley, the first of two trips to the Melton - Edwalton line and Asfordby test centre. 67005 was on the rear of 1Z82.
Brand new Bombardier Class 345 Aventra 345028 on transfer from Bombardier’s Central Rivers depot to the Old Dalby test track heads away from Melton Mowbray “wrong road” along the Up Main to Melton Junction and the Edwalton branch. The train is 5Q46, 10:26 Barton under Needlewood – Old Dalby and is being hauled by 37608, 20th March 2018.
A welcome return to Nottingham, this was one of the new vehicles purchased for the 'Five Counties' which operated on the 19 from Nottingham to Peterborough via Melton Mowbray and Oakham. After the 19 was cut back to the bare bones, the bus transferred to Leicester, but due to shortages, it's back for this week.

A first time seeing one of these in the flesh for me, one of Centrebus Grantham's Tempos made it to Nottingham!! Now that the work is operated by Grantham, I suppose this will be a common sight from here on in??
777 heads round the edge of The Meadows with a 19 to Melton Mowbray via Edwalton, Normanton-on-the-Wolds and Ab Kettleby.
With a 5 sandwiched in between, there are currently extra 6s at 0505 and 0603 from Edwalton Wellin Lane which then carries on normal Saturday timetables at 0630 in Nottingham.
404 is seen at Wellin Lane in Edwalton ahead of the 0603 6 to Nottingham via West Bridgford and Trent Bridge.
Todays first port of call was 4hours to Edwalton on the 6s.

On its second day in service, Nottingham City Transport Scania N280UD / Enviro 400 City 402 - YP17 UFB calls at Nottingham Station working Bridgford Bus 6 to Edwalton. These super environmentally friendly bio-gas buses will reduce Co2 emissions by up to 84% compared to an equivalent brand new diesel double deck bus.
In the wake of the senseless violence which claimed the lives of three innocent people on Tuesday morning in the City, NCT have repurposed the royal E400 Scania in solidarity.

After over three years of planning, development and testing, Scania have produced an impressive new N280UD Bio Gas powered chassis, with the new ADL E400MMC or City style bodywork.
Nottingham City Transport originally applied for OLEV funding for 82 new gas buses, but this was later reduced to 53. This allowed for the installation of the Gas Station, housed in the NCT depot, in Nottingham. There is potential of Nottingham purchasing/operating up to 120 Gas powered double deckers, again depending on the correct funding.
During early spring 2017 Nottingham, unveiled five of the new gas buses on Old Market Square from 10:00 until around 15:00, however the weather did not dampen the interest of the new buses. The event drew in plenty of interest from the Nottingham general public, along with a selection of goodie bags and leaflets introducing the new gas fleet.
By early July 2017 the first route in the NCT network began to see the new Gas buses run, successfully, the Green Line 6 service, City Loop to Edwalton, via Trent Bridge and West Bridgford.
