Q: Did Bloomberg, Trump, or Guilliani send their children to a NYC public school?
A: HELL NO!
Why? Because the "No Child Left Behind Act" has nailed the head on the coffin of the U.S.'s already crumbling public education system. NYC is the largest public school system in America (indeed, the world), comprising over one million students.
In fact, with Bloomberg's help, the NYC Public School system has managed to get worse. This issue is pandemic & it's eating our country alive. I personally don't know anyone with children who send their children to NYC public schools (firemen, police officers & working class citizens included).
And why not? Because those in power no longer place value in the PUBLIC SCHOOL education of our country. Look at whose attending the public schools in America. Don't get me wrong, America does value education, only, it's private education they value. Education of the wealthy elite, for the wealthy elite. Yes folks, the corporatization of America is nearly complete!
Theres no excuse. NYC is market ONE, after all! Here, we have the TOP of the TOP industries, including: Finance, Publishing, Higher Education, Advertising, Architecture, Entertainment, News, Health Care. Yet, we have some of the worst public schools in the country.
The nation's cream of the crop flock to NYC, competing for world domination on a global scale! That's a hell of a lot of brain power & talent amassed in a central location. In a town where hedge fund honchos make $300 billion a year & a starting NYC public school teacher makes $43K, no wonder we're in trouble. Where's the education love?
There's a reason we don't have universal heath care. There's a reason our public schools are a wreck. There's a reason why average Americans start accumulating debt at 18 & spend the rest of their lives in a form of indentured servitude. There's a reason 99% of Americans' incorrectly call America a democracy when, in fact, it is a Constitutional Republic. There's a reason why our Constitutional Rights have been stripped from us over the past 7 years faster than a pro can take off her undergarmets.
Wake up people.
For the betterment of tomorrow, please, people, GET INVOLVED! Get involved in something, ANYTHING. A great start would be to stop quibbling over B.S. We MUST start by ridding ourselves of the systems which have a choke-hold on us. I'd consider abolishing the Federal Reserve & printing our own money to be THE place to start, because Fiat's not just a car baby. And whilst you're not driving it, you better bet it's driving you!
Everything begins with education. I myself attended public school's in America's dead last-place state for education, yet received one of the finest educations of most people I've encountered. An Eton / Oxford educated associate of mine once looked upon me in shock after I'd helped advise him through his sixth consecutive successful business deal. He was an international banking / finance in the airline industry & couldn't figure out how the hell a S.C. "artist" could possibly be dishing the same advice as the President of Boeing.
The answer? Education! I never stop learning & there's absolutely no longer any excuse for ignorance. Period.
DO SOMETHING!

Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
Let me preface this by saying there are so many different ways to handle your debt and so many opinions on the proper way to acquire money.
Dave Ramsey has his own take and entrepreneurs of the likes of Tai Lopez, Tony Robbins, Elon Musk, etc. have their own way in acquiring money. So just know there’s no right or wrong when deciding what avenue you’re going to pursue. At the end of the day you have find what fits you. Personally, I take a little of the two and go from there.
This book shines light on the various myths about money in regards to leasing cars, paying college debt, credit cards, mutual funds, emergency funds, etc. This is a good book for anyone trying to get a basic understanding of finance and how to deal with their money.
The debt snowball effect is used by so many people I know and though it’s a basic concept, many people still don’t use it. Yet, the effectiveness of it and the concept of living off a certain percent of your salary is extremely powerful. Definitely a page I took out of this book.
Until next time.

Ask yourself this question?
What is driving you?
Too often we don’t realize what drives us. This book talks about the different drives in our lives and that we tend to rely on external drive. Money, fame, awards, notoriety etc. the problem is this...when your drive comes from external sources, eventually.... you’re going to run out. That’s why though in some cases external drive works(temporarily), inevitably the strongest drive starts within; Intrinsic drive. Now you may ask..how do I get intrinsic drive?
Simple. Find what excites you. Find a career where you truly feel excited to be a part of and as cliche as it sounds, one you’d do whether you were paid for it or not. Example, nobody is paying me to play soccer right now. But that doesn’t prevent me from picking up a ball and going outside to train. Nobody is paying me to read a book, but I’ll pick up a book everyday because I love the process of learning. That, my friends, is internal drive. Nobody has to offer you anything. You do it because you truly want to, not because you have to. - The BrainBox Team.

Boarding schools are residential private schools, which means students live at school during the academic year. They resemble colleges in that students live in dorms or residence halls, but they primarily serve secondary school students.
A boarding school’s primary goal is to provide a learning community where students can concentrate on their studies, mature and reach their full potential.
