This is a re-edit of an old shot from late December 2011. It is a shot of the probably the most photographed spot in Dublin, but from a different perspective.

In the original version the underside of the bridge was totally blocked up - I love the improvements in Photoshop's recovery in highlights and shadows over the years.

Here I am in the midst of editing the manuscript of my book on China. I dont have a table big enough for it. For Our Daily Challenge topic - 'New Challenge.'

Taken in July 2019, two friends Grace & Rachel agreed to model for some portraiture.

A re-edit of a photo that I took over 11 years ago on a trip to my old alma mater. Revisiting the image, I made adjustments and applied a lookup table in Luminar 4.

Buboy's edited version of this. Galing!

froknowsphoto.com/?p=4084 How would you edit this RAW file? To download the RAW file please click the link above.

The aim for this photo was to add a 'fall' effect on the photo. As the photo was based around a forest and leaves I thought this would be a reasonable edit. Starting off I used 'Selective Colour' and changed the greens and the yellows until the colours of the photo starting being more similiar to those in autumn. After, I then added levels and colour curves to get an appropriate colour correction. After this I realised the grass was at an unrealistic colour, so I decided to overlay the grass with a green brush and then changed the opacity. I feel this edit has worked perfectly to show off autumn colours.

A re-edit of a photo that I took over 15 years ago with my Canon PowerShot S60 in the first month that I owned it. The S60 launched me on a decade and a half career as a photographer. Revisiting the image, I de-noised it using a Topaz plugin in Photoshop, made adjustments and applied a lookup table in Luminar 4.

The Park-Monument of the Bulgarian-Soviet Friendship was built between 1974 and 1978 on a hill in Varna overlooking the Black Sea. The trees in the park that surrounds the monument were planted to celebrate the bravery of Soviet soldiers. It was designed by architect Kamen Goranov and sculptors Evgeni BarÇŽmov and Alyosha Kafedzhiyski.

Like other monuments in Bulgaria that loudly and proudly celebrate communism it has been left to fall into rack and ruin, but because it celebrates friendship with Russia, a country with which Bulgaria still has close historical ties, even if the Bulgarian authorities really wanted to demolish it completely, they couldn't without upsetting the Russians.

This is one of Bulgaria's monuments that is much more than that word might lead you to believe. It was a fully functional building that housed an information point, a Soviet propaganda centre and bookshop. And in the hill beneath is an abandoned nuclear bunker.

Although the old main entrance has been bricked over by the authorities, someone had already knocked a hole through said bricks, and a saw the the metal grill that had been placed over said hole!

Inside there are some amazing spaces, and the view from the roof terrace is quite spectacular.
