Weiser Railroad Edison Locomotive at Firestone Station Greenfield Village
The “Edison” 4-4-0 Locomotive #1 built 1870 by Manchester Locomotive Works, rebuilt from an 0-4-0 in 1932 by Henry Ford who got the engine from Thomas Edison. It became a working locomotive again in 1972, when the 2.5 mile Perimeter Railroad began service at Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan.
