On the last day of camp, they had a tea and ceremony where they all showed us their cabin cheers and awards were given out. Jeff, Edison and I had just returned from our 3 day trek out to Maasailand and Edison was congested and crabby. To keep him happy, we sometimes take random pictures of him. It works.
Weiser Railroad Edison Locomotive at Firestone Station Greenfield Village
The “Edison” 4-4-0 Locomotive #1 built 1870 by Manchester Locomotive Works, rebuilt from an 0-4-0 in 1932 by Henry Ford who got the engine from Thomas Edison. It became a working locomotive again in 1972, when the 2.5 mile Perimeter Railroad began service at Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan.

The Edison Museum of Vienna features many authentic
Edison artifacts and furniture. some of which were donated by the late Mrs. Nora Edison Coombe. Nora, a first cousin of the inventor Thomas Alva Edison, was the last remaining descendant with the Edison name to live in Vienna, Ontario, Canada.
This museum location closed in 2016 due to a lengthy list of building repairs needed and a lack of funding. It was moved to the main street of Vienna.

This is an old cylinder record phonograph I have that has been in the family for years. Buddy just couldn't stand it that I was taking a photo of something besides him. It also probably has about 100 years of smells on it too.
Once upon a time this Boylston Street building was the home of the Edison Electric Illuminating Company (i.e., the electric company). Now it's the home of St. Francis House and on the National Register of Historic Places.
