Piracy or Preservation
Music piracy is the copying and distributing of copies of a piece of music for which the composer, recording artist, or
copyright-holding record company did not give consent.
It kills creativity, it takes money out of the pockets of the artists. This photo could be interpreted as evidence of piracy. This is an transfer from a lateral Edison phonograph of musicians s long passed, on an label for which we know of no copyright holder. The transfer is not for distribution.
Is this Piracy or Preservation ?

Edison levels up! He now has his own bedroom. He's really excited - no separation anxiety or anything - and looking forwards to sleeping on his own now.
The Edison Homestead, part of the collection of historic buildings at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. The homestead was built around 1815 in Vienna, Ontario, Canada and additions made about 1860.
Thomas Edison’s great-grandparents fled to Canada after the American Revolution because they sided with the British. His grandparents started a farm and built this home there. Edison visited the farm as a boy, where he played in the barn, went swimming and fished in a nearby river.
