In Boston Edison Historic District, Detroit. Wandered through in the 80's back when this had a glazed tile roof.
This is not quite a squircle, since the outer edges inscribe an octagon rather than a circle, but it was still an interesting view.

from today's trip to the huntington. they have a cool new exhibit called bright ideas: six ideas that changed the world. among the items on display in the exhibit: a number of light bulbs made by thomas edison himself. i shot this one in Tv mode, forcing a 1/20 second exposure in the not-very-well-lit room.
