The story behind this photo:
The bride & groom did not want to see each other before the ceremony, which is pretty typical with my wedding clients. Usually it isn't an issue, but the Huntcliff Club is a small venue so it made it difficult to have them both there at the same time and take any pictures.
So the bride told the groom to arrive at 5:30 so we could do her bridals before that. Well, things ran late and we lost track of the time. I was taking her out front to do some shots in front of the house when I heard her let out a squeak as we rounded this corner! She quickly ran back behind this wall and started chattering excitedly in Portuguese. Since I don't speak Portuguese I had to peek around the corner to see what got her all agitated.
Well, the groom was standing right there in the lobby.
I had to bite the inside of my cheek to keep myself from laughing because I don't think the bride was honestly upset. She was worried that he saw her, though, and I never got an honest answer from him. He just gave me this mischievous smile and didn't say a word. :D
After this little incident we had to start using secret passageways (otherwise known as the men's room and ladies' room) to transport the bride and groom.

The front of my new business card. I tried to design one without photos (per [b]ecker's wisdom), but I just didn't like any of those designs.
This design mimics my web site and a couple ads I have placed recently for maternity and newborn portraiture. I decided to go ahead and do separate cards for weddings...those will be next.
