Easyjet is tightening the conditions for flying with them and increasing the ticket prices. From a lowcost company it his becoming a money sucking company and I'm starting to think of finding some alternative.

This is a screengrab of the result of an EasyJet search on a laptop on 4 December 2012 for a flight from London to Malaga at the beginning of 2013. I had done a similar search a few hours earlier on the same laptop for a similar flight. It is possible that EasyJet placed “cookies” on my laptop when this first search was done.
About one minute before the second search, I did an identical search on my iPad, which had not previously accessed the EasyJet site. The 07:00 flight from Gatwick on 1st Jan at £63.99 was given as £59.49 on the iPad search, and the early morning flight on 2nd Jan at £67.99 on the laptop came out at £63.49 on the iPad. The early morning flights from Luton on 1st Jan and 2nd Jan at £50.99 and £71.99 on the laptop were at £46.49 and £67.49 on the iPad. All of the other prices shown here were cheaper on the iPad.
There has been speculation that firms use “cookies” to alter prices for customers who have searched previously or whose profile leads firms to suspect that they are willing to pay more, but nothing has been proved. I make no allegation here, but simply produce these results.

Picture taken at 18:44 UTC, of an Airbus A-320, callsign EZY98TN, Tail number G-EZUI from EasyJet company, passing overhead of an altitude of aprox 7km traveling at a speed of 630 km/h. Used a Canon EOS 7D + Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM. No tripod used.

22-10-2012 - EasyJet, Airbus A320-214. Seen here on stand 49 just before push back for its flight to Barcelona. On board, 100 or so rowdy Celtic supporters!
