A pair of friends set up a hammock underneath a pier at Panama City Beach, Florida to admire the last fleeting moments of the day's setting sun.
Processing:
- Imported three varying exposures (EV -2,0,2) of the same scene into Lightroom and applied lens corrections to each image.
- Imported the three exposures into EasyHDR and applied the default HDR settings.
- Loaded the HDR image into Lightroom, cropped image to 16:9 and applied some dodge and burning to various areas of the image (sand & hammock).
- Loaded into Nik Collection's Define 2 for noise reduction.
- Loaded into Lightroom and increased the overall exposure slightly and applied post-crop vignette.

After repeated days of torrential rain, the sun breaks out just before is sets on a field groaning to contain it's swollen creek.
- Captured in a series of three consecutive shots at varying exposures (EV -2,0,2) using Jag.gr's PureShot camera replacement app for Apple's iPhone 6.
- Imported the three images to Adobe Lightroom to apply lens corrections.
- Edited the three images in Nik Software Define 2 to remove noise and artifcts.
- Imported into EasyHDR to combine the three images of various exposures.
- Imported HDR image into Adobe Lightroom for some final lighting adjustments and cropping.
The pier at Pier Park in Panama City Beach Florida.
Processing:
- Three shots of varying exposures (EV -2,0,2).
- Adjusted temp of all three photos and lens corrections in Lightroom.
- Used Define 2.0 from Nik Collection to remove noise from the three images.
- Created HDR from the three photos of varying exposures using default selection in EasyHDR.
- In Lightroom, lighting adjustments were made.
- Being unsatisfied with the remaining ghosting in the sky from the HDR process, I loaded the HDR image and a single exposure image of the sky into Photoshop. Used Topaz Remask to remove the sky from the HDR image and used the sky from one of the single exposure images.
- Finally back in Lightroom, I carried out some remaining lighting adjustments.
