A sunrise Easter Sunday service is always held at Crosby. It must be amazing to watch the sun rise above the iron men. Sadly it's a bit too early for me!

ANSBACH, Germany – The morning was chilly and brisk for the more than 100 U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach (USAG Ansbach) Soldiers, spouses and children gathered at Aircraft Hanger No. 5 on Katterbach Kaserne early Sunday, April 1, 2018, for a special Easter Sunrise Service organized by the Ansbach Community Chaplain, Lt. Col. Kim Suk and sponsored by the USAG Ansbach Religious Support Office.

 

In his opening remarks Mr. Philip Romanelli, Deputy to the Garrison Commander (center), welcomed the attendees and thanked the event participants for their contributions in organizing the special service. Guest Speaker for the event was IMCOM Europe Chaplain Col. Paul Lasley.

 

Members of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) Brass Quintet were also on hand and played a variety of music throughout the morning and the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade provided static helicopter displays in the hanger. After the service attendees enjoyed refreshments, music and fellowship.

Lane will begin at 6:08 a.m. Special music will be given by combined choirs of the church [Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, Thirteenth and Webster, Waco, TX]. ”
