No "earrings" to be found. Ear piercing with diamond studs is an entirely different story. 17 year old granddaughter, Courtland. Removed from Smile on Saturday as insufficient emphasis on earrings per moderator. The lighting and selective shallow focus is on the earrings but so be it.

I happened to be listening to a series of lectures called "Masterpieces of the Imaginative Mind"- a course about fantasy literature, while constructing these earrings.
One lecture discussed the recurring theme of the Eden Complex in Science Fiction literature. It then struck me as uncanny that the earrings I was making at that very moment were in the form of some paradisal fruit!
Grape-like clusters of freshwater pearls, rhinestones, and seed beads hang from vine-like hammered wire.
These earrings are playful and elegant, their connection to the Eden Complex being merely incidental.

Theyre really tiny bears and keys...i feel like they put a lot of detail into these dolls, but at such a small detail, i feel like it goes unnoticed.

Just about everything that I had planned for these earrings ...uh, did not work!
They look very cute and straightforward NOW but took days to come together.
The Sleeping Beauty Turquoise was a last minute decision but I am very happy about choosing it in the end!
These elegant, cute, funky, gorgeous earrings were inspired by my embroidered collar (Sunflowers). The flowers are brick-stitched and fringed using Czech amber-coloured fire-polished glass, gold-lined grey and bronze Japanese seed beads, bronze druks and matt brown "Venezia" seed beads. The flower measures about 4 cm (1 1/2"), the whole earring measures 5 ½ cm (c. 2 ¼”) from the earring post. The earring post is gold-filled.
