A early morning welcome when travelling the backroads - just slowly cruising a farmer's large pond in search of food - a nice quiet moment.
This was taken early in the morning as the roseate spoonbills were heading off to feed. there was a feeding frenzy going on and the birds were flying in a great numbers. Hard to photograph but very exciting to see.

Taken about two weeks ago on my walk to work - love this time of the year as the sun rises earlier and earlier each morning. It won't be long before the sun's rising at half four up here in the very north of England.
The early morning sun lights up character parts of the forest en the trees, a specially the tree on the right.

This early morning shot flood the bird with light but basically I just got a silhouette of the bird and fence, Post photo aps helped pull just some detail out of the dark side.
When you wake up early in the morning and go fishing, you are immersed in a world of tranquility and harmony. At this time, nature has not yet fully awakened, and you feel like the only inhabitant of this amazing place. The sounds of nature - birdsong, rustling leaves, soft sound of water - fill your soul with energy and peace.
