En lo alto del cerro conocido como la Muela de Garray, a 7 km de la ciudad de Soria, se encuentra el Yacimiento Arqueológico de Numancia, mítica ciudad celtíbera que se enfrentó al poder de Roma entre 153 y 133 a.C. El terreno que ocupa el yacimiento, la finca Garrejo, fue donado en su día a Garray por el vizconde de Eza, y el conjunto declarado Monumento Nacional a finales del siglo XIX.
