My entry for the Terror in Tabletown contest.
Joe is really having a nervous breakdown. He lost his wife who left him for his brother (ah the tenacious cliché...). If he can’t live true happiness, Joe decided that no one was to live happily ever after...ever...He really took the expression “weding crasher” way too seriously.
I took this image a few years ago but thought it would be a good time to post it. It's nice to see some facial "expressions," which seem to be increasingly rare these days.
i wasn't planning on making this my 365 for today
but after seeing black swan tonight i thought it was only appropriate :)

The little Mountain Blue Birds were all over the place at Strawberry Reservoir where we were camping. Love the expressions! We had a campsite overlooking one of the bays at the lake. It was so relaxing to sit and watch the fishermen in their boats on the water. Sunrise was amazing

Dedicated to all builders and carpenters (especially my dad) who take pride in their craftsmanship, respect the grain of the wood, and mourn the loss of trees from our planet in equal measure. A relic from my distant, distant past, and definitely a safety hazard by today's standards but I loved playing with this puzzle.

The vivid expression of this Gorilla has inspired me to convert the image to Black & White, so that the focus is only on the face!

Woodman shows his Facial Expression
But without any Aggression
Wood is not a dead Material
That would be too trivial
This face is alive
But how long will it survive ?
Or is it just a Fantasy overdrive ?
It is full of Life, Let's face it
Not sure whether it's nice, I must admit
Beauty lies in the eyes of the Beholder
And taste might change
As we are getting older ....
