These were responses to Frontier fates that student had to answer very quickly. Time was allotted for group discussion and decision making and then as a group they were to write a paragraph about what they chose to do and why they made that decision. This paragraph met me expectations because it is a paragraph in length and they answered the question of what they chose and why they chose it.

You throw your pearls at swine

And as I watch you leaving me

That splashes on a stone

Its here, and then its gone

So take me to the airport

And put me on a plane

I got no expectations

To pass through here again
