I saw this kid taking a fun ride at one of the delhi malls .. I couldnt realy place it but there was something in her eyes which told me she musta been thinking about becoming an astronaut when she was older .. But then we all did at that age din't we .. I miss being 10 I guess :-)

This 'Meet My Family' page was an additional page that students could take if they had finished all other classwork. This student exceeded my expectations because this was additional work and they included details like their animals and family members. The reason that Kenneth was on the ground was because they had died on the trail.

Shelton church is one I've known from photos for some time, so I was particularly pleased to be visiting it at last. You always have certain expectations in such cases so it's always intriguing to see how they'll measure up to reality. It looks quite a grand building so imagined a more dignified approach, instead we simply pulled up by a gate on a leafy country lane and there it was!
This is clearly an above average building that has had a lot of money put into it, and sure enough its rebuilding was funded by Sir Ralph Shelton (High Sheriff of Norfolk) from the 1490s to at least the 1520s (work may well have continued up to the eve of the Reformation). This work was never finished, as witnessed by the humble west tower that clearly belonged to the previous church, and the curiously hollow south porch, where a fan-vault was obviously planned but never materialised (leaving the upper chamber without a floor).
The church is unusual in the area for showing so little flintwork, the usual building material in these parts. Aside from the tower the walls are mostly of brick and the clerestorey of stone (quite a luxury). Its proportions make the building appear larger than it is, fairly short in length owing to the lack of a structurally defined chancel, but given more height by the handsome row of clerestorey windows above.
Within the church the sense of height is maintained, the proportions again accentuating this with a fairly narrow central aisle that rises to a flat plaster ceiling (replacing the original timber one in the 18th century). The nave columns are slender and elegant, all very much in the last phase of Gothic where the ratios of stonework to glass changed dramatically. This seems a very light building in every sense.
The best original surviving features here are in the windows at the east end, with much early 16th century glass remaining, collected into the three windows of the east wall (and therefore not in situ) with more remains in the traceries of the aisle windows. Most of the larger figures are kneeling donors of the Tudor period, but a few more saintly individuals also remain. There is another font following the usual local design at the west end, but this one has sadly suffered some mutilation. There are tombs of the Shelton family at the east end, but most are plain aside from the early 17th century one on the south side with a group of kneeling figures.
Shelton church is a bit of a gem and well worth a visit, and was open and welcoming when we called in happier (pre Covid) times.

And we've been warned that this day is promised to no one, any more than the last - or the next. So perhaps they are right to find such delight in the rising of the sun - to find us alive and breathing and thinking and feeling and enjoying the world around us..
But we humans get so enthralled in planning our day and our lives that we take the morning for granted. But then, so much more is expected of us, than to simply open our petals, and drink in the sunlight.. We would be thought daft, if we were to stand in the garden, smiling up at the sky all morning.. happy.. no worries.. Maybe we can't spend the morning that way, but a smile and a glance up now and then couldn't hurt - right?
This is a photograph from the finish of the 36th Michael Manning Memorial "Dunshaughlin 10KM" Road Race and Fun Run which took place in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, Ireland on Saturday 20th June 2015 at 19:30. This race is widely acknowledged within the Irish running community as one of the best races in Ireland. While being very well attended and competitive it is also one of the oldest 10KM races in Ireland. The numbers for this race have exceeded expectations year on year for the past number of years. In 2008 a record field of 306 took to the start line but by 2012 this number had more than doubled with 647 runners taking part. The starting numbers in 2013 topped this again at 668. Last year, 2014, the numbers rocketed to a new record of 883. This year 862 finished the race showing that the race continues to attract very substantial crowds. This year, as in previous years, the race attracted runners from not just all of Leinster but from the four corners of Ireland. Who knows but this race could reach 1,000 entrants next year? The work of the organising committee must be commended on making this event possible. The Dunshaughlin 10KM has earned it's place at the top of the pedestal of Irish running through the sheer hard work of Dunshaughlin AC over the years. Road race events do not survive on their own. There must be dedication, hard work and a development vision amongst the committee and the host club. Well done to all.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

I finally managed to drag myself out on Saturday, despite a broken toe, and spent an hour with the birds before the strain on my foot became too uncomfortable. More healing time needed I guess...
Last year someone asked me why I had to photograph dragonflies when there were so many photos available online and in print? Obviously not a photographer! I do get the same way with Blue Tits, and no matter how hard I resist I can't help it if it results in a satisfying image.
I tried something different this time and concentrated on the trees rather than the feeding posts, becasue the last thing I wanted was another Blue Tit feeding on a post! Much better to get them jusat before they descend from the nearest tree....

Her eyes are supposed to resemble the Tonner Rapunzel since I love those big eyes like that, but I guess I should've guess that the doll's face is too small for that ? Considering I actually shrink this doll's head until they're Skipper size ( because I want to fit her to a 25cm Obitsu doll which ultimately kinda fail ), I kinda want her to look like she's daydreaming but it looks more like she's high XDD, but I don't think she looks toooooooooo bad in the normal human eyes

Wet pavement outside the Victoria rooms. Seemed to sum up my mood today somehow. The light and reflections in teh texture of teh pavement apealed to me, as did teh rythm of teh slabs and teh curve of teh Victoria Room's Fountain.
Have I done well this Christmas when it comes to being spoilt! I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened my parcel from the dear friend Reen! To say I love these gorgeous dresses is an understatement!
I fell in love with Grace's tiny tapestry bag in one of Reen's pic and low and behold I then received one through the post as Pre-Christmas gift!!!!!!!!! Then if that wasn't enough I got another parcel to open with these gems inside! The Creme Brulee dress is for Gabriel and she has already picked some blue ribbon to put in her hair to compliment the bows on her new dress. The Nougat one is for little Hippy who arrived in the tattiest ill fitting hippy outfit you could imagine, so she can't wait to put something as pretty and delicate as this on and feel special. Even Roz G , the cheekychops of my family got a special treat, her first and only pair of Atelier Matin shades!!!!!!!!!!!! To get a pressie as well as the old lady K's was most unexpected and she was for once lost for words! :D xxx

We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not charge for our photographs. Our only "cost" is that we request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, VK.com, Vine, Meetup, Tagged, Ask.fm,etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us or acknowledge us as the original photographers.
This also extends to the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a separate wall or blog post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.
I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?
You can download this photographic image here directly to your computer or device. This version is the low resolution web-quality image. How to download will vary slight from device to device and from browser to browser. Have a look for a down-arrow symbol or the link to 'View/Download' all sizes. When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.
I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?
If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. For offline usage and printing all of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution.
Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.
In summary please remember when requesting photographs from us - If you are using the photographs online all we ask is for you to provide a link back to our Flickr set or Flickr pages. You will find the link above clearly outlined in the description text which accompanies this photograph. Taking these photographs and preparing them for online posting takes a significant effort and time. We are not posting photographs to Flickr for commercial reasons. If you really like what we do please spread the link around your social media, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc. If you are using the photographs in newspapers or magazines we ask that you mention where the original photograph came from.

Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
