" May I kiss you then? On this miserable paper? I might as well open the window and kiss the night air."

In the ether, in the ether's air
Would you be there? would you be my friend?
In the morning, in the morning rain
In the binary of a data stream
On an airplane, on a radio
All around me in the ether's flow
Under an orange sun
Running from what I've become
What am I running from?
You can't take a photograph of it at night
It lives in the code of a firefly buzzing
It vibrates through brickwalls, keeping their time
It cuddles the creeping chaos coming
see it more clearly than ever before
I'm in its invisible river flowing
Through everything I've ever been through before
Heads up, something's really happening

This is taken from the boat landing where boats can wait for access to Gardam Lock (Behind me) The wind is rippling the water against the flow
The fields to ether side are "Ings" land which is designed to flood when the River Derwent backs up during the winter months and this is the first time this year I've reached this point
The Pocklington Canal is a broad canal that runs for 9.5 miles through nine locks from the Canal Head near Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, to the River Derwent which it joins near East Cottingwith. Most of it lies within a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest

This is one of the pictures I have transformed into B/W and made more etherical and abstract with use of Lightroom.
Rien ne ressemble plus à ce qu'on nomme le hasard que les nuages. Eh bien les nuages sont exacts

Our ship had been anchored a little away from Mayabundar port before it had to set for a long overnight voyage through a rough sea....we enjoyed an enviable sunset moments while on the deck....taken from Andaman sea, India
we are invisible
in the corner
in the dark
vapors that linger
ethers and lower
case letters
someone carved
in smoke so
we watch
what revelry
the spirits stir up
90 proof of nothing
is something
to meditate upon
like monks
from another
dimension who
practice being
and non-being
we are here
and not here
until you arrive

Light from my east kitchen window illuminates me holding my camera,
light from within the house mingles and mixes with the curtain,
while the wintry plants in front of the neighbor’s wall gather some morninglight.
The window support in the center snaps the etherial space back into the reality of divided yet mixing space.
